I'm super excited about the last season of New Girl coming out next month! Bring it!! For this final season, they're doing a flash-forward to three years later... and I've read that someone dies. =( If it's anyone other than Furguson the cat, I'm gonna be pretty upset! Here's hoping the last season lives up to the hype and is not a letdown. (Or that it grows on me like the rest of the show has.)
It has slowly become one of my favorite shows... every character has certain quirks and expressions and mannerisms that make me laugh so much - I laugh harder with this than any other show ever! =) And while it's not always super wholesome and appropriate, the writers have done a great job of creating something that's both hilarious and full of heart! ❤
At first, I didn't love the way this episode went down. Now it's one of my favorites - this scene, specifically. I LOVE IT. The beautiful background song, May playing the cello, the guys in their yamakas, Cece's mom being there, Cece talking about his constant mispronunciation of common words, the middle-of-the-night wedding in the loft where their relationship started and where he proposed, the small audience full of close friends and family, everyone throwing flower petals over them, Nick connecting with Jess over Reagan, and them using the douchebag jar as the glass for them to break - I for reals teared up and felt ridiculous, but whatever. lol It's all golden, and I love it! =)
(I also love love the proposal episode - season 4 finale - and the Rivers and Roads song that goes with it! Hooray for awesome background music that doesn't glorify abuse!)
And this makes me happy, too. That's the last New Girl thing.
Anyway, that's my random video post for today. Hope you're having a lovely Thursday. Now back to printing a kathousand pages so I can file this transcript soon!!
