Thankful Thursday #146

"They may curse me, but You will bless me.
When they attack, they will be humiliated,
but Your servant will rejoice...
I will thank the Lord profusely;
in the middle of a crowd I will praise Him."
~Psalm 109:28-30

Today I am thankful for:

1.  Dad's life and legacy, and getting to celebrate his birthday last night!

2.  Delish OSU-themed cookiecake with chocolate icing... something me and Dad appreciate more than the others. lol

3.  My preshface niece who I could not love more if I tried!  She got so excited telling me about a waterpark ride last night, and her joy and enthusiasm were contagious!

When I asked her favorite flower later, she thought for a second and then said "Bluebells!"  And I thought it was a lovely and very original Mini Miss K kind of answer! ❤

4.  A job with downtime where I can bring tennis shoes and take short walking breaks in the middle of work!  (And keep this blog updated). lol

5.  My summery new yellow dress - I was feelin' cute and had to take a bathroom selfie. lol  On that note, I'm also thankful for having a clean staff-only bathroom just across from my office!

6.  Knowing that we are all masterpieces being shaped and formed by God... but we're also all currently works in progress in various stages of transformation! ❤  I've been thinking in construction metaphors lately thanks to watching my house being built. =)

7.  The joy I find in looking through old photos! =)

Here are a few "Throwback Thursday" pics for you...

Kristin's Graduation party 2005... Rach, Ashley, me (tanner than usual), Kristin, Amber, and Jayme in our old 9121 kitchen dining room!  Not sure why Heather's not in the pic with us, but yay for a girl cousins pic!

Rocking the denim on denim with a sweater vest for a classic Olan Mills sister pic in 1994!

And finally, a yesteryear Christmas pic of JoBug and Mom by the tree with their chihuahua dog! =)

That's all for now.

"May our light shine before others, that they may see our good deeds and glorify our Father in heaven!"
