Work has been super busy since I got back from Vegas, but in a good way. Extra transcript money is always appreciated. Especially since we're now planning an NYC TRIP for the first week of December! So excited for that! Winter, Christmastime, the big tree, ice skating, a broadway show, and my favorite friends!! (And bonus, it'll be right after we've all run the half, so hopefully I'll be in good shape. Not that it matters much; I always feel cuter in Winter!)
This week, my judge is taking Wednesday through Friday off for vacation! So I stayed there yesterday to finish up a transcript, but now I'm on day one of my four-day weekend! :) Love it!! This morning, I went with my family to look at houses for my sister. We looked at a few that she immediately vetoed, but finally found one that's pretty perfect, and she may put down a deposit tomorrow, which is exciting! Malori and I are heading to Hideaway for dinner tonight, and I'm already excited for that. Then I'm having lunch with Morgan Elizabeth and mom and Lynda, which should be fun! Then going back to T-town tomorrow to celebrate Cassidy's birthday with dinner and the Van!
We celebrated my awesome friend, Chet Lee's 22nd B-day last weekend. His reaction when he opened the Shake-weight was awesome! :) He finished his crazy 6-pack abs diet, and we had cookiecake and it was fun. As he said in a text, "Praise the Lord for sugar and chocolate!" :)
Despite that, I'm happy to say I've been making healthier choices and exercising really consistently, but the weight is being pretty stubborn. Whatever... I'm staying the course. I do need to get back to serious running... time to really be training for the Half! Malori and I have decided to do one race each month August through November, starting with the Quarter Marathon on August 7th. Then we'll do the Race for Freedom at Lake Hefner in September, Race for the Cure in October, then the Half!! Woohoo, get excited! lol
I've been thinking a lot lately about the personality test we took at our CR seminar, but that's a subject for another (much lengthier) post!!
Lastly, thanks to my awesome (and generous) Dad, I got an amazing new car a couple weeks ago!! The red IS-250 convertible... and I LOVE it! =D
So anyway, life is good; God is good!
