Haven't met them, but feel like I know them personally, and I'm definitely inspired both by their lives and their teaching! In a world full of passivity and mediocrity, these women are not lukewarm. Their hearts are alive and passionate for God, and both have had to overcome very painful pasts, break major strongholds, and stay committed to faithfully obey God through better and worse! Their hearts of integrity and their consistent desire to please Him is the reason He is able to anoint their teaching and use them to change so many lives today, and that is absolutely the kind of faithful woman of God I aspire to become!!
I know this is getting long, but I must include John and Stasi Eldredge on this list. Their books are well-written and full of life changing spiritual insight... and they inspire me to live from my heart, to see the world differently, and to be aware of God's voice and the spiritual warfare in every aspect of daily life. As a couple, they have the most genuine, strong, loving, God-centered, and DEEP marriage that I know of... the heart for God and the wisdom and passion of John Eldredge inspires me and gives me reason to hope and settle for nothing less in my own heart and in my future marriage!
