Riding with Jenny Womble to her first Club Volleyball tournament in Missouri (when she coached the team)! She was driving her friends' SUV to carry all the volleyball equipment, and it broke down on the way there, so we waited FOREVER in the middle of the night, then had to ride in the tow truck (got very little sleep that night... but we were delirious and it all became really funny!)
The tournament was a blast, full of volleyball games and fun dinners and shopping and movies and hanging out at the hotel, and all the girls and their families were great! It was also awesome that no one asked me to call lines (I always DESPISED having to do that. I can't take the pressure of all the angry parents on both sides!)
Anyway, we rode back with one of her v-ball players and their family, and we watched several episodes of the OC, which got me into that show for a bit. Hooray for Adam Brody. :) I also remember us getting really freaked out on the drive there when this guy flashed his lights at us a few times and no one else was around for miles... then Jenny finally realized she had never turned her lights on. :) And I remember her saying about 50 times, "Why does everything always happen to us!?" lol Aww, I miss her... and miss that shade of red in my hair! :)
