I took Friday off work to bring the puppies to MWC, so we celebrated my birthday at Hideaway with the fam on Thursday night! It was a lot of fun holding little Missy K and just hanging out with everyone, and I got some travel-themed gifts from Georgia & Alan and a great card from Kristin and Frankie, plus a cross from Josh and a cookie-cake at home! All good! I sat across from Kristin and got to talk to her a bit, and we ended up seeing Winter's Tale together on Valentine's Friday. (Strange movie, but it was great to hang out with her and have a deeper one on one conversation... the 15th would have been Anthony's 2nd birthday.)
Mom and Rach helped me pick out clothes and get started packing, then I drove back to Tulsa where Lauralai was already at my house. We made a last minute Walgreens run to get Bonine (motion sickness pills) for me... where we took this epic V-Day picture. lol
And right when I made it home, she surprised me with this youtube video, which meant a lot to me!! (even more than the princess card and Panera gift card) ;)
So even before Vegas, 30 was off to a great start, feeling very loved!!
