Clothed in Strength and Dignity

A good woman is worth far more than diamonds. Her husband trusts her without reserve, and never has reason to regret it. Never spiteful, she treats him generously all her life long. She senses the worth of her work. She's quick to assist anyone in need. She is clothed with strength and dignity, and laughs without fear of the future. When she speaks, she has something worthwhile to say, and she always says it kindly. Charm can mislead and beauty soon fades. The woman to be admired and praised is the woman who lives in the fear of God.
-Proverbs 31 excerpts (The Message)
Most qualities of the Proverbs 31 woman are things to aspire toward and work up to... for me, at least. But being "clothed with strength and dignity" is part of our birthright and identity as daughters of God who are made in His image. It's hard to remember and sometimes hard to grasp, but right at this very moment, my spirit is clothed, covered, protected, and wrapped in the eternal strength, power, confidence, dignity, and honor of Christ!! And when my soul (my mind, will, and emotions) is surrendered to Him, I will naturally reflect His strength of character and secure sense of worth and dignity.  YES, PLEASE!! :)

"Put on the armor of light... clothe yourself with the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ."  ~Romans 13:12-14

(Okay, if you haven't noticed, my posts are very focused on living out my identity in Christ this month. It's such a critical thing for me to see myself correctly, to know who I am in Him and walk in that if I want my life to have real power and reflect God's anointing grace! So I'm writing several posts about it to keep hammering those concepts in, and hopefully it's encouraging others as well.)  ...Either way, I'll switch to "30 Days of Thankfulness" posts in November then get back to "normal" posts in December... just FYI for anyone who was curious. lol

My classes are going well so far - LOTS of reading and writing, but the reading has been uplifting, and I think I'll get faster and better at the writing as I go. :) Other than work and class, life is good... hanging out with Tara Lynn and the girls tonight and having a fun movie night tomorrow!

Finally, today is a very important day...
GET EXCITED for the very 1st birthday of two teeny-tiny moh-mers, aka fluffy sues, aka Sam n' Ella, aka "the girlfranz!!"  My little Sam-Sue and Bellsy-butt are ridiculously adorable and #precious! lol  I love them so much... and I love the cuteness of this song from You've Got Mail! :)

Also, how cute is my niece!?  I love a mini-miss Kyndal Faith!! =)

If all that + Friday doesn't put you in a good mood, then I can't help you. lol
HAPPY FRIDAY!!!
