(*This post = truths that apply to anyone who is in Christ. For those wanting to know more about me personally, I've shared my testimony and some of the major lessons God has taught me HERE!)
I am a Woman of God
I am a Woman of God
I memorized that happy little nine-line "Identity Declaration" poem the day I heard it at the Beth Moore conference in September, and I've either said it or thought it out it at least once a day since then. :) These truths are becoming more and more real to me, and God has brought this to mind at times when I've needed it most. My worth and confidence in and through Christ are building and getting stronger, and I'm so excited about that!!
I decided over the break that I wanted it spelled out right here in my October sidebar, so I wrote a blog post for each line in reverse order. Cheesy, I know, but I kinda love it! :)
And now, two powerful closing prayers from our friend, Paul:
"I pray that from His glorious, unlimited resources, He will empower you with inner strength through His Spirit. Then Christ will make His home in your hearts as you trust in Him. Your roots will grow down into God's love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God's people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep His love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God. Now all glory to God, who is able, through His mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Glory to Him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever!" ~Ephesians 3:16-21
"We ask God to give you complete knowledge of His will and to give you spiritual wisdom and understanding. Then the way you live will always honor and please the Lord, and your lives will produce every kind of good fruit. All the while, you will grow as you learn to know God better and better. We also pray that you will be strengthened with all His glorious power so you will have all the endurance and patience you need. May you be filled with joy, always thanking the Father. He has enabled you to share in the inheritance that belongs to His people who live in the light. For He has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of His dear Son, who purchased our freedom and forgave our sins!" ~Colossians 1:9-14
So that's all for my identity series.
Have a Happy Halloween Friday tomorrow!
And Saturday starts 30 days of Thankfulness! Get excited!! =)
