Catching Up!

So in spite of the fact that I blogged EVERY SINGLE DAY in March, I have some catching up to do when it comes to life events and pictures.  Here goes... :)

Miss Kyndal Faith finally able to wear the dress I bought before she was born! lol

I have a nest and robin's eggs in my spring wreath (by Rach) on my front patio!  Precious!

Last weekend, I had a girls night with Laura, Sarah, Tiffany, and Angie! We picked up Hideaway pizza, wine, and ice cream, then came back to my house to watch School of Rock!  We also got a makeup tutorial from Sarah! :)  All in all, a really fun night with some of my favorite girls!

Sammers is included in my favorite girls, obviously! ;)

...and her Bellsy sister too! :) #pompuppylove

This weekend, I went to Fellowship's Good Friday service (extremely well done) with Chet & Co., then Jeff and I went over and watched The Passion of the Christ at Evan and Jessica's... such an emotional, sobering movie. We got pretty quiet during and after the movie, but my favorite quote of the night was JEM saying, "We'll eat our popcorn before Jesus dies!" :)  (It did seem like a strange movie to sit down and watch with a bowl of popcorn.)  I knew the movie would be hard to watch, but it was good for me to see it again.  New things hit me every time I see it, and this time, it was the spiritual connection between Jesus and Mary... there's a brief scene where Mary lays down and kisses the floor above the dungeon where they have Jesus chained. He looks up at the ceiling, and He knows she's there.  And it struck me as really powerful that even though almost everyone else in the world that night missed the memo, she knew and He knew that He was divine... that He could feel her motherly love and literally hear her prayers and know her heart toward Him.  And I think that had to be a great comfort to them both... not sure if you followed that, but anyway, here's a popcorn pic to bring us back to the lighter side!

Saturday morning, I did face painting with Karli at the Fellowship carnival!  It was definitely interesting -- I did several cats and bunnies, but other kids requested panda bears, Cinderella, unicorns, ninja stars, wolves, frogs, etc.  Thank God for my iphone and google images! lol

This was the firemen doing the candy drop - mass chaos, but I'm pretty sure the kids loved it!

Saturday night was our movie night at "Gare-bear's." lol  (Denist Gary is Chet's mentor/friend who's fun and generous and let us come over for pizza and a Bourne marathon in his awesome theater room!)  This = the view from his back patio!

JEM and Chet witnessing Laura's signature for the "pounds pounds" challenge! ;)

Our whole group at Gary's round table, after our Savastano's deep dish pizza dinner!!
I LOVE this group (missing TK and Sarah to complete the perfect 10). lol

The theater room - awesomesauce!  We watched Bourne Ultimatum (love it) and Bourne Legacy (better than I remembered).

Lol the guys helped bring in extra couches and we made ourselves pretty comfy!

The perfect number (7) of "Lala Lemon" cookies!

Finally down to Easter Sunday... Mom came over and brought brownies + strawberries and dip for me to take to Jeff and Kelly's Easter lunch!  JEM was a wonderful host, as usual, and it was fun with great friends and great food (I even ate ham and tried deviled eggs and coffee)!!  His backyard also made a perfect setting for pictures!  Here's one of Jeff and Kelly with Eden (carrying the flower she picked from Jeff's yard). :)

JEM:  "Mockey, before I forget, Chet and I got you a gift..."
Me:  "Oh, wow, is it a late birthday gift or something?"
JEM:  "No, I don't think it's for anything specific."
Me:  "Aww, that's so nice."
......after lunch, Eden needed the sack for her Easter egg hunt, so Jay took the gift out of the Ida Red sack and I came around to pick it up...
Me (awkwardly and a bit confused):  "Oh... cute... I like it.  It's interesting, since I don't actually drink coffee or wine."
JEM (hilarious befuddled expression):  "Hmm, whyyyy did we get that for you!?  ........Ohmygosh, I'm so embarrassed. I think we actually got that for Bobbi."
Me (cracking up):  "That would make a lot more sense!" :)
JEM: "I'm sorry.  We owe you a gift from Ida Red now!"
#allhilarious #youdon'towemeanything :)

Some of the food - Kelly made the ham and homemade salad dressing, Bethany made deviled eggs, JEM made potatoes, green beans, and bread (from the Farmer's Market).  #fancyandfun

Saw this Easter pic on FB and it made me laugh! :)

And finally, right back to where we started from... Missy K in her Easter dress and sandals and sparkly gold bow.  Being a tiny little presh face because it's all she knows how to be! lol

Ahhh, I feel caught up now. :)  Happy Easter!!
