In my first week, I ate a lot of my favorite comfort foods, but I tracked it all and stayed within my daily points (until the last day, when I went a bit over). I ate more fruit and protein than normal, so that was good! I know I will naturally make healthier choices that gradually become habits the longer I stick with this program. Even when I fall off, I have to keep getting back on. I am deliberately taking the changes slow and not pressuring myself to go extreme and do too much too fast. Tracking and staying in my points is good enough right now - yay me! (I was hoping for five pounds, and very pleasantly surprised to hear I had lost nine!!) Anyway, one week down, several to go. It will get harder; I know that. But it's encouraging to see great results!
Laura is out for Jury Duty at the Tulsa County Courthouse this week, so I'm a bit busier than normal at work. It's a lovely felony Tuesday. lol I'm heading to the shooting range with Steve and Sarah tonight to practice with different types of guns... Definitely a little nervous, but hopefully it'll be fun!
I spent this weekend with the fam, and on Saturday night, we went over to Bill and Jill's so that Jill could take pics of the Parrishes. She got so many great shots, especially of the beautiful Miss K. This one is my absolute favorite - LOVE IT. More of this cuteness on Friday! =)
