If I could create an epic Flipagram slideshow, we all know I would. I also thought about posting my top ten favorite posts or maybe one post I love from each of the past ten years, but that's pretty time-consuming and I know from experience that it's unlikely anyone but me will go back and read them. lol
I will say A LOT happens in a decade! And true to my court reporting profession, I have kept a good record as time has moved along. The major highs and lows with friends and family... people moving in and out of my life... memorable vacations and quotes and road trips... going back to school and earning my degree... spiritual growth and wrestling and finding renewed strength in Christ... becoming an aunt to my four favorite kids on the planet... writing tributes to many of the people I love most... my favorite shows and songs... other random thoughts... and priceless pictures of the people and places that bring me so much JOY!!
I am incredibly thankful for the emotional outlet of writing, for the way it helps me process and press through difficult seasons. I am grateful for the sense of community that I gain by keeping this public blog... for the friends and family who are regular readers, helping me feel seen and heard and valued! THANK YOU for being a part of my life - I really appreciate you! ❤
There is so much to be thankful for and happy about right now, and I don't want to let myself get bogged down in the emotions that come with deep nostalgia. My reading yesterday was in Philippians 3, and verses 12-16 really say it perfectly! #keepworking #lookingforward
I've been thinking about tomorrowSong of the week = Still by Seinabo Sei.
Instead of drowning in the past.
We had good times even back when
Dreams were all we had to last...
So as I wake up this bright morning,
Nothing's gonna bring me down.
Waves are singing, wind is forming.
Summer's here to stick around. 🎔
