Happy Monday!

Happy Monday, friends and fam!!  Cheers to us making it through another week and being almost halfway through the craziness that is 2020!  ;-)

A couple memes that have made me laugh lately:

If they're really gone now, PTL and hallelujah!! lol

I am thankful today for God's grace, and for inner peace and joy!  Thankful to see positive changes and for the ability to be openminded, learn, change, grow, move forward, and help bring healing where there is pain and injustice!  I'm thankful for good conversations with a couple friends this past week, and for all the pastors and podcasts that have embraced the current national conversation about race relations and justice, offering quality content and thoughtful perspectives, including but obviously not limited to:
  1. Annie & Eddie Keep Talking with LaTasha Morrison (founder of Be The Bridge)
  2. Ransomed Heart's The Social Upheaval with John and Stasi Eldredge
  3. North Point Church's This Human Race sermon by Andy Stanley
  4.  The Holderness Family Podcast on Working on Being a Better Ally
  5. LifeChurch's God, Help Us Unite: Racial Reconcilation Starts with the Church sermon by Craig Groeschel
  6. Elevation's Become the Bridge (A Conversation with Pastor Steven Furtick & Pastor John Gray)
  7. Restoring the Soul with Michael John Cusick's conversation with Dr. Reggie Moore

Click any of the above for the link.  I recommend all of them!
...And while we're on that note, please click HERE to read about the aggressively violent manslaughter of Breonna Taylor, sign the petition, and email the callous leaders who continue to ignore this massive and egregious injustice!!

Some encouraging truth:

On the homefront, my reno/remodel project is very nearly done (FINALLY)... a few finishing touches this week, but the house is feeling so much more normal now, so I feel thankful for that and for all the awesome updates and changes!! #remix

Mom took some pics when the granite guys came a couple weeks back, and this top one makes me laugh!  He's cutting the hole to undermount my kitchen sink... which they measured and drew out on my pink wrapping paper (pictured below). lol

Here's a before-and-after of my kitchen area.  It feels familiar but also new, and I'm loving the new wall paint, cabinet paint + hardware, granite, backsplash tile, barstools, flooring, pendant lights, chandelier, and trash can! lol  Huzzah!!! ❤❤

Hope your week is off to a good start and hope you have a fabulous week ahead!!

P.S.  A very Happy 33rd Birthday to Cody Rigsby!! =)
