Happy Easter + Phoning It In (Part 15)

"Jesus told her, 'I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying.'" ~John 11:25

Happy Easter Sunday!! ❤

This post contains Easter pics, but it's also me throwing in lots of random pics from my phone so I can feel "caught up" here. =)  Starting with this... love this quote - feeling it more and more lately!

This early morning 45-minute Bike Bootcamp was my 1,000th workout on April 1st, so I threw on my Century shirt and a bit of makeup to get a celebratory pic.  Let's go, Peloton! =)

This was a bday gift drawing from my precious niece... she made a similar one for Mamaw, and I freaking LOVE that in both of them, she drew herself wearing a crown - yas, queen - I so want her to see herself that way and really know her worth!!   Not sure if mine is hair bows or mouse ears, but I'll take it either way! lol

A Schitt's Creek themed bday gift keychain from Rach - love it!

My Apple Watch has only freaked out like this a couple times.  The move and exercise rings would just spin and spin every time I opened it, so I kept getting notifications for new records and activity awards while sitting still at my desk in Creek County. lol This was on April 1st, so it seemed like a funny April Fools prank by them.

Our courthouse was built way back in 1914, and I randomly got curious one night and did a Google search for old pictures of it.  Pretty cool!

Downtown Sapulpa in 1925 (I think) - the courthouse is in the middle there.

Yesterday (4-3-21) was a family lunch at Olive Garden for Triston's 14th birthday!  Very crazy that two of my nephews will be teenagers this month... driving and high school graduations are right around the corner.  I love and adore them, and they have never been confused about that, and I'm happy to be a positive influence in their lives!

T-man got the iPhone 12 Pro as a birthday gift from Rach and Josh... he was super surprised and excited about it, and making me laugh trying to keep the screen really pristine and clean.  I took him to the AT&T store (well, both the Midwest City and the Choctaw store) after lunch to get a phone cover and exchange the mint green for the pacific blue phone, and Tyral was really awesome and helped set up his new phone.  Makes me happy to see him happy!

Last night, I joined my parents and Bill & Jill for dinner at Bob's Steakhouse, which was tasty and fun!  We chatted about all the latest drama and watched part of the Final Four games in March Madness (Go Baylor!!).

Laura invited me to join her this morning for an outdoor church service at River Oaks.  It was lovely weather (minus one flinchy gnat attack), and it was really nice to be a part of group worship and be reminded of our hope in Christ!

*I was planning to have a quiet, movie-watching Easter Sunday, and I wasn't at all sad about that.  But I do feel very thankful that the only two friends who knew I was back in town today (Chet & Laura) both invited me to come and have lunch with their families!  YAY, friendship!! ❤

After church, we picked up Panera lunch and came to Susie's house where we ate outside on her back patio.  Yay for the strawberry poppyseed salad and broccoli cheddar soup!

We had some of Brett's leftover birthday cake + ice cream for dessert - yum!

This bunny in a hammock by the window was super cute to me, so I had to snap a picture!

It was only decided late last night that I would join them, so I was surprised to see that Susie had made me a candy-filled Easter basket!  Very thoughtful! =)

Thankful for kind friends and lovely weather!  ...Also, wishing there was a button I could press to stop the Transitions lenses when I want them to just stay clear. lol

Finally, here's a couple attempted April Fools jokes by kids that made me laugh a lot!  Solid effort. lol

That's all for today.  Hope you've had a good weekend!!
