A huge thank you to my wonderful Tulsa friends for making this day so special! We met for a nacho bar dinner at Tacos 4 Life (one of my favorite Tulsa spots that they don't have here in Norman) on Thursday night. I chose that day rather than trying to plan something for Good Friday or Easter weekend - it was also my last day of work, so a milestone day all around.
Here's our group photo, which makes me super happy!
(Tall Kyle and Bill and Melissa Weatherford were also there.)
In fact, that picture is already hanging up in my new office... in a pink glittery frame, no less. lol
This one is also pretty fantastic... Karli made two great banners for me for this party, and Chet played this song as I walked in, which was epic and hilarious (a Schitt's Creek throwback).
Tiffany chose this wording for my cookiecake (also from SC), and I love it!!
Kelly Marie made this awesome framed poster for me (out of the frame here because people were still signing it). Each letter is a collage of photos, filled with memories from my 15 years in Tulsa!! ❤
Steve and Sarah got me this framed photo of the three of us at Hamilton, along with a ten dollar bill and a Hamilton bobblehead doll signed by Lin Manuel Miranda! So epic - I love it all!!
Two of my best friends for the past 14 years!
Teresa Wilson, who got me a lovely journal, some verse cards, and an inspiring pink keychain that I'm already putting to good use here at my new office!
A selfie with Sarah Elizabeth and Kate... and Jon photo-bombing us! lol
A classic pic with Chet Lee and Jeffrey Edward, aka "Mockey and the boys!"
The Moss family!
The Shoemakers!
Kristin and Jon!
And one final selfie by Jon before we all left!
The banners, the nacho bar, the cookiecake, and the cards and gifts were all fantastic!! But the best part was the encouraging words and the fun of being with so many of my core close friends at once... I felt very loved and appreciated and supported, and I am deeply grateful for that! ❤
Yay, God! Yay, friends and family!! And yay, me! lol
