MM ~ Hospital Prayer

Quick update on Mom: She has one final "clean out" procedure tomorrow morning. (The infections were staph and pseudomonas, but they're responding well to the antibiotics, thank God!) She should be released to go home tomorrow, then come back in for a skin graft on Friday. Keep praying!!

Today's memory happened late this past Thursday night.  I took Friday off work and stayed with Mom at the hospital this weekend... hospital stays tend to be exhausting and frustrating, and this was no exception.  I tend to get really anxious and stressed out during times like this, to worry before I remember to pray.  Mom was feeling a bit nervous too, and she asked me to pray with her the night before her second surgery.  I leaned over her hospital bed, held the hand with no IV in it, and we prayed together - asking God for comfort and peace and healing!

And my hope is that when it's all said and done, I will remember that lovely prayer moment more clearly than any other in this entire ordeal!!
