Words of Wisdom Wednesday

*I was looking for Hunger Games quotes, and found this - I'm not in this book yet and have no idea who Finnick Odair is, but I like the quote a lot! :)

(Yep, I just quoted Kid Rock as a source of wisdom. lol  That is my favorite Kid Rock song by far, though!  You might be thinking there wouldn't be much competition in that category, but I also love the Picture song with him and Sheryl Crowe.)  

Anyway...
Update:  Mom's surgery on Monday went well enough, but there were two types of bacteria growing in the open wound, so they are keeping her in the hospital with the wound vac until Friday now - when they'll be repeating the debridement surgery to make sure that the staph and other infection are all gone.  After that heals, they'll eventually do a skin graft on her knee.  She's feeling pretty well and the breathing treatments are helping with her cough, but hospitals are so exhausting, and time passes in triple-slow motion when you're there.  So keep her (and our whole family) in your prayers whenever you think about it!!  Thanks, friends.
