Today is my awesome cousin, Kristin's 30th birthday!! ...more on that below. It is also my 8-year "Blogiversary!" =) So yay for that!
Without further ado, here are some recent pics:
Josh's Snocones after Lifegroup on Tuesday! #lovethephotobomb :)
Katie & Tiffany psyched about their snocones! Josh's are the best!!
The Jaceman was excited to show me his new backpack. He pulled something out of it and said, "See, you can put stuff in it and zip it up then get it out later!" Brilliant - who knew!? Kids make me really happy. :)
Miss K and Jace were having a mini sibling-fight over this Mountain Dew... "I need a sip!" "I need it back!" "I need anuhder drink!!"
..."It's gone - I drank it all." ~Jace (At which point, Kyndal immediately burst into tears, and he looked kinda proud of himself.)
He wanted to sit by Mamaw so we pulled up a chair for him. He was pretty happy about that!
Here they are ready to leave in the golf cart. Babydoll is coming along for the ride! :)
This was definitely on the list of things I thought I would never see... but yesterday, I got to watch Jace and Kyndal (and Josh and Rach) swim in our old pool at 9121... whaaaaat!? It was wild to be back there - a fun little gift from God, really - so many good memories!
(The gazebo and bench are new, but the pool and diving board are unchanged.) Oh, the funoodle flips and the made-up synchronized swimming routines that would start on that diving board! lol
(Long story short - Rach is buying a car from the people who live there now, and they told her they rarely use the pool and she was welcome to bring her kids and come swim any time!) Jace loved the diving board... "Watch me diiiive!!" (#notadive)
I used to sit right in that same spot. :) And Joshua Michael Martin and I helped paint that concrete.
And the four of us (Mom, Dad, me, and Rach) carved our initials in the drying concrete here in 1993. Suuuper faint, and the pic is even worse, but we were happy we could still see them a little. :)
Then last night, I got to finally go to Kristin and Frankie's house in Moore to celebrate Kristin's birthday (technically her birthday eve, the last day of her 20's). lol I got to chat with Kristin and Charlene, meet Al's girlfriend, play with Diesel a little, eat great food, celebrate my favorite cousin, and watch a lot of Toy Story 2 & 3 (how great are those movies!?) Also, note the adorable cupcake-shaped cupcake holder behind Kristin... fun!!
Frankie made this cake and got the sugar candy bugs to go on top, which made me laugh! A perfect cake for a 30th birthday party!! :)
This morning, I went to LifeChurch for the first time in 3 weeks, then joined the Parrishes and Dad and Charlene for lunch at Pelicans, which is finally growing on me. :)
The rest of the day has mostly been lounging around and napping and taking care of Mom, who's doing better and better! :) That and making this through-the-years Flipagram... Happy 30th, Kristin!! Love you!
