Never Give Up!

First things first - Rach told me that Kyndal Faith cried for 20 minutes the other day because she was sad that her hair wasn't pretty. NOT okay. She's the cutest, sweetest, most delightful person I know, and she has beautiful blond hair that's got soft little curls, and I hate the thought of anything making her feel less than (whether it was just general comparison or a classmate or someone specifically saying something to her). Hate it. I want her to keep her spunky, confident, happy-go-lucky little personality, and I want to live in a society where girls don't feel this icky pressure to look like a model at age 3! =(  ...Obviously, I can do very little to stop that mess, but I am gonna pray for peace and confidence for her, and I'm sure gonna compliment her and build her up every time I see her. And so should you if you're reading this!!  Not even kidding. :)

Speaking of cute hair, the girlfranz are making me smile lately with their Boo cuts! So much cuteness. =) Girlfranz love couch pillows. lol  Any time I can't find Bellsy, that's the first place I check and she's usually there or the big comfy chair in my living room!

We went on our first successful walk all together on Super Bowl Sunday!  There was a bit of getting tangled up, but hopefully we'll get better at that. And there was a mini freak-out when a big dog without a leash ran over to greet us (his owner came after him pretty quickly, and his name was Lolly, which made him seem less scary. lol) It was such a nice day outside, and I definitely wanna do this more often! =)
Speaking of SuperBowl Sunday, here's a collage from that day. Walking the girls, then crying my way through LifeChurch's 30 Second Theology, then waiting and hour and 20 mintues for a hair appointment I'd booked and finally giving up and leaving, then JEM's chili cook-off SuperBowl party... I wasn't there for the vote, but I heard that Chet won electoral college and Jay won the popular vote! lol

This was an article I saw on Facebook, and I took a screenshot because I thought this picture was the strangest thing! lol I think turtles are precious, but I didn't know whether to laugh or be sad or say, "Awww." lol  Why is he on the toilet, and why is he crying? Sadness. lol  (The article was about how some animals carry their shells with them wherever they go, and it's okay to be an introvert who needs a close friend with you in new social situations.)

This also made me laugh. A random FB quiz to tell you what law President Trump will sign about you... I was named Presidential Hairstylist (no, thanks), and me, Tiffany, and Jenna all got cracked up when she got this result:
Crazy news: JoBug's house caught on fire! I was on the elliptical at Planet Fitness when Mom called to tell me, and the people near me looked curious about my reactions in that call. It started out back, and they were home and caught it in time - between JB, Mike, and their neighbor, they almost had it out by the time the Fire Department arrived. Scary, though! I'm so glad they were home and that everyone is safe!

Yesterday also did not go as planned... Minutes after I got to work, I got a text from Aunt Charlene that Kristin would be having the twins that day... I immediately asked Judge if they needed me, then headed out to the Children's Hospital in OKC. I talked with their pastor and Mel as they were doing the C-Section, then got to see the babies and Frankie as they came by taking them to NICU. A bit later, they brought Kristin back in to the room, then their pastor said a prayer of thanksgiving with everyone who was there, which was awesome and meaningful - he got a little choked up, and everyone is just so thankful for healthy babies and mom!!
Wesson - 3 lbs 9.7 ounces, 16.5 inches
Nash - 4 lbs, 2 ounces, 17.25 inches
Frankie said Nash needed a little oxygen, but other than that, they're doing well - Praise the Lord!!
(They're both in there together, but you can only see Wesson's face here.)

I got to have a late lunch with Mom at Zios, where we had a good talk and lamented people being dumb. lol Then I went to their house for a bit, watched SuperBowl highlights + commercials + half-time show, got to see Jace and Kyndal Faith and hear about their Science Museum trip, talked with Rach about her Dough-licious idea, then tried the new Zaxby's for dinner with Mom and Dad and Charlene! A great day all around. Then I listened to some good podcasts as I drove back to Tulsa. :)

Here's Rick presenting Bill his trophy at the Wallaces SuperBowl party! I was sad to miss that, but Mom thought to write down the fun quotes for me!! :)  Every one of the Wallaces are hilarious, and Bill Lemieux, too!

Mom: No, you can't leave in the third quarter!
Bill Lemieux:  Well, this game is over. There's no way the Patriots will come back from this.
Mom: Okay. But if they do, you've gotta pay us all $100!
Bill: If they win this game, I will pay you $100!
(They definitely called him at the end of it! lol) What a crazy game. I could care less about football, but I like the message of Never give up no matter how behind you feel!!
