The Birthday Girl!

It's been a lovely birthday and pre-birthday weekend for Kyndal Faith!!

Here's her and Rach in matching Mommy-and-Me dresses. So cute!! They even have matching blonde hair and green eyes! =)

Part 1 = A rainy day swim party at JoBug's!  Here is all the kids in their goggles, the pink castle cake requested by the Miss K, & me and my preshface niece!!

And here is me and JB hanging out under the umbrella, Miss K coming in to dry off, Miss K in her new Anna dress from Mamaw, hot tub pic again, Kyndal in her inflatable sumo suit from Babah & Grandad (they got that, inflatable boxing gloves, and a pretty necklace, all of which were a big hit!), Carter Lee jumping for the lemon raft!, Carter eating his cake without a fork, T-man wearing the watermelon raft as a sombrero, all the kids checking it out when they discovered worms crawling around inside those rafts... disturbing!

Part 2 = Peter Piper Pizza after church on Sunday!  All the boys gave their tickets to Kyndal... they had over 4,000 altogether, and Miss K only wanted items that cost 30 or 50 tickets each - we tried showing her all the bigger items, but she wasn't interested. lol  So the boys got to spend some, too!  The bottom right pic is Carter trying to convince her to get the helicopter. lol

Part 3 = today... Josh took her to get her hair and nails done this morning, which she loved! Then she came over to show us and we told her she could go anywhere she wanted for dinner. She picked soup at Mamaw's house!! I love it. lol  "Soup. That's what I pick!!" she said defiantly when Rach tried to suggest different restaurants. So Mom made soup and spaghetti, and we had cake and ice cream!  We didn't have candles, so we had her "blow out" the lighter instead. lol As Rach eloquently put it, "There's nothing about this party that's not ghetto." lol  But really it was perfect!  We all sat down at the table and Kyndal said, "Well, I guess we're having a family dinner!!" So precious. She and I played on Snapchat and played dominoes for a bit (just building random stuff with them, not the actual game). She looked at her baby scrapbook with Mamaw and we all told stories about what we remember on the day she was born. We swang and played on the fort, and she and Jace played Captain America using pot lids as shields! lol Fun times!!

My FB post after midnight:  Happy Birthday to my beautiful, delightfully precious niece, the mini Miss Kyndal Faith! I love her more than she could understand. This girl is so dear and special to me. Even before she was born, we were so excited to add a sweet girl into the family of 3 awesome big brothers! Only 12 days after she was born, my six-year best friendship fell apart in spite of my best efforts, and that loss was incredibly difficult for me. Baby Kyndal Faith was a pure and gracious gift that God used to keep my heart soft and pull me out of despair. (Cuddly babies are great for that!) Holding her and singing to her in those early days was so helpful and healing and just something I won't ever forget. I have come such a long way over the past four years, thank God, and the Miss K has been a bright spot in my life all along the way! ☀️ Her big eyes, her curly blond hair, the adorable fountain ponytails and pigtails, her sweet spirit and endearing laugh and smile, her sassy expressive hand gestures, her tomboy spunkiness combined with her love of everything pink and girly, her made-up stories as she pretends to read her books, her shyness when she realizes someone is listening, our mutual love of looking through the scrapbooks and watching Frozen, the way she runs over and hugs me with so much energy, her bravery and her sensitive heart - she's just the very best, and I hope she has the greatest day a four-year-old preshface can have!! 💗💗
