Thankful Thursday!! (86)

Today, I am thankful for:

1. The ability to exercise and build strength and sweat, and all the great benefits of exercise!!  I went to SALT and tried hot yoga (basically yoga in a sauna) for the first time last week... it was tough, but I'm glad I went anyway!

 2. Getting to really hang out with Tiffany for the first time in a couple months... we saw Crazy Rich Asians (really good chic flick!), then had one last summer swim at my neighborhood pool, then dinner at The Brook while we watched Alabama's first football game on Saturday!  It was a fun day, and I learned a lot about Alabama and Auburn football. =)

 3. Getting to hear Michael preach on Sunday morning and getting a copy of his book (and getting a shout-out in church for proofreading it)!!  Followed by a tasty lunch at Los Cabos with Teresa and Chet's fam!  Fun times and baby cuteness!!

 4. Having one last summer day at JoBug's pool (I didn't bring my suit, so I sat on the couch and chatted and watched them swim this time).  It was overcast and pretty nice outside, and just an easygoing fun Labor Day Monday!  Side note:  The Miss K is all wrapped up in a Disney princess towel, while Jace has a McDonalds french fries towel. lolol  ...Seems about right.

 5.  The continuing cuteness of the long-distance romance of Jaceman and Claire.  He randomly told me, "Did you know there's not any boys in Italy as nice as me!?" lol  That's apparently what Claire told her mom, and he was super happy to hear it.  Their family moved in the middle of school almost two years ago, and I'm really surprised how much he still remembers and talks about her. Any time he talks about being married in the future, it's "When I marry Claire..."  Pretty cute!
**Also, big news... they pick one little boy and girl to carry the crown and flowers to present the high school attendants at the CHA Homecoming game next month, and Jace was chosen, so that'll be really fun! =)

 6. The hilarity of Nick and Schmidt cheering me up while I was sick the last couple days!  In spite of a terrible final season, New Girl is one of the funniest shows ever made. =)  
(Obviously, I'm also thankful to be feeling better now!!)

7.  My happy new table runner, and the general atmosphere of light and peace and joy and warmth in my house! =)
