Today, I am thankful for:
1. The support of the Wilson fam... and Tate recognizing me... and Los Cabos cheese enchiladas!! =)
2. Zenni Optical, where I ordered 4 new pair of cheaper glasses, so now I can color coordinate with my clothes! lol
3. Grandad's 90th birthday last Saturday (born 7-27-29)... I redacted the details off the invitation pic, but we'll be celebrating that and Dad's birthday this coming weekend! =)
4. Today = the beginning of a brand new month, and it marks Dad's 36th year with State Farm (he started around 7 months before I was born). So yay for that!
5. Yesterday was also Harry Potter's 39th birthday! lol (I always say his name in Dobby's admiration-filled accent in my head. lol) ...So I'm thankful for the positive impact those stories have had on me and on others who connect with them!
6. Discovering the Therapy and Theology series on the Proverbs 31 Woman podcast... sooo good!! I'll write more on that soon, but it's come at a good time for me. (This isn't a quote from that, but the sentiment of taking responsibility and making needed changes applies.)
7. Getting to spend lots of time with Sarah Elizabeth in July (meeting at 9:30 to talk things out over mini-molten cakes at Chili's, summer swims, movie nights, dinners out, birthday fun, brunch & Bible study, etc.) Steve had a 2-week drill training, and she was off work due to a foot fracture, but it came at a time when both of us could use some extra friend-therapy and support and fun, so I'm thankful for that!!
