Photo Friday

The Jaceman's precious eyes did not follow the typical pattern... they work independently rather than together, and that has become more pronounced over time (see pics below).  His wonderful and attentive Kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Garner, had this same condition and it eventually set in permanently.  She's the first one who caught it when he was in Kindergarten, and after going to an eye doctor who was somewhat clueless for a while, they tried the doctor she recommended, and he really understands this problem and how to correct it.  He showed them how Jace sees the world and how he focuses with one eye while his brain shuts the other eye off.  This will require intense eye therapy (45 minutes a day at home + one weekly office visit, starting with 55 weeks!!), but it is fixable. If they did not take it seriously and work to correct it, he would be unable to drive a car when he turns 16... crazy!  It heavily affects his depth perception and certain things with his reading and writing, and I'm excited for him to be free of those limitations in school and sports!!
Well, iOS 14 is out and they introduced "widgets."  Not a fan of that word, but they're kinda fun.

Speaking of phones, I was trying to open mine to look at it while laying in bed this morning, and I dropped it right onto my lip... ouch!! lol  I was half-asleep and it was startling, and then it was really funny.

Today is Aspyn Jane's 5th birthday. Praying for Lindsay and Jon.

Always a funny memory!

That's me! =)

Fun fact:  As of Wednesday, there were 100 days remaining in 2020.

I had lunch with Kristin Foster at Red Robin on Wednesday and got the tortilla soup and caesar salad... yum!

A good reminder especially this year...

Peloton introduced Barre strength classes on Tuesday... it's harder than I expected, but I'm a fan!
