Randomness

Happy Sunday, friends!  It's been a while... for me at least.  I saved these gifs planning to make a post on Thursday, but got sidetracked with other stuff and forgot.  June 3rd is officially Gilmore Girls day in my mind - a day they mention about 1000 times in that show since it's Rory's court date and Lorelai's planned wedding date!

June 3rd is also the birthday of Miss Jenny Womble, my only high school classmate that I'm still in touch with outside of Facebook! =)  Lots of fun memories with her!!

Just a random meme that made me laugh...

The Miss K and the girls in her class on "Super Crusader Day."  When we were there, it was called Track and Field Day, and there were a lot more fun events and prizes, so they've changed the name to make it sound more fun while making the actual event far less exciting. lol

The Miss K in her adorable sleep mask, which she apparently uses every night.  Presh. lol  Mom took this when she came over to get them super early (Rach has to be at work at 6am, so someone goes to get her kids and bring them to Mom's house every morning).  Tomorrow, that someone will be me! lol

A hilarious pic of a fluffy Sammich a few years back trying to get as close to me as she could during the car ride and making it look like I bought a crate that was waaaay too small for her! lol  Sam puffins is a funny one!

May have already posted this - I'm not sure - but I really love this verse and painting by Tricia Robinson, who does a lot of colorful verses and quotes that are great for kids' rooms... or for cheesy adults like me - I love that the angel is large and protective and has music notes in her wings, and the girl is wearing a pretty dress and a crown to remind her she's a child of King, and the verse is written in a way that makes you read it slowly! ;-)

I made my own peach cobbler, which you can barely see here thanks to the ice cream, but yum!!

Another meme that felt appropriate and made me laugh...

And on a more serious note, I took a pic of this part of my email from James Clear... it's a great reminder that we will never feel perfectly 100% ready and prepared for major life changes, but we have it in us to rise to the occasion and step up and learn as we go!

Went to Ihloff and got some happy highlights for summer yesterday! =)

This = this same plant two years ago (on the right) and today (left).  I haven't thought about it much since the growth happens so slowly, but seeing that picture was a good reminder of where it started.  Yay for life and growth and health and taking lots of baby steps that add up in the long run!!!

Dad is improving - still using the oxygen, but able to use less and walking around a lot more.  They've increased his heart medication and it seems to be helping the AFib calm down.  (*Side note: I recommend buying a pulse oxyimeter on Amazon - they're around $18 and it's a really helpful thing to have to quickly check your heartrate and oxygen level if things are feeling off with either one.)

That's all I've got for today... lots of randomness.  But I'll be back with a Memory Monday post tomorrow.

Hope you're having a good weekend!! ❤
