Happy Friday!

Happy (photo-filled) Friday, friends and fam!! 
Hooray for the weekend being here!

 

 Tiffany and I had lunch at Patriot Cafe on Wednesday, then got a picture by the gigantic Christmas tree that reaches my 3rd floor window at the courthouse! ❤

I'm on round 3 now and still loving Annie and Eddie's podcast!  I actually miss them.  They did a live event together recently, so I'm looking forward to the release of that podcast!

 

 

The courthouse was closed for Veteran's Day yesterday, so I grabbed Hideaway for me and Sarah Elizabeth then accidentally took a really pretty scenic route to her house.  She had freshly baked chocolate chip cookies, and we had a great time hanging out and playing with Kate and catching up on all the things.

 

 Baby Kate was a tiny preshface, even if she spit up all over me. lol  We talked about her latest pediatrician appointment and how to advocate for your baby and help keep them calm.

*Also, Happy (day after) Veteran's Day and thanks to all who serve or have served our country!! 

Yesterday also marked Bill and Jill's 10th anniversary... so many fun memories from our Vegas trip for their 11-11-11 wedding (HERE)!!

 

 

And this Sunday will mark 10 years since Mom and Dad's wreck and God keeping them safe - I think sometimes about how very different our lives could look today had things been worse that day, and it makes me very grateful!! ❤

In lighter news, my new electric range arrived yesterday!!

The blue inside makes me happy.

I'm gonna try it without the towels for a bit, but I love how homey they feel, so I'm likely to put them back someday.

 

 

Chettles and my Mom have similar strong opinions on my home choices. lol

God is close in good times, and He is extra close in dark times. ❤❤❤

What you focus on expands. #BOLD

Gracious, this was really good for me to hear!!  A 2004 sermon from Tim Keller that was really on point for my life today... I'll write more about this topic in a future post.  Too many thoughts to throw in right now.

I tried out all the things with my new oven and stove today... I used the Convection Bake feature for some chocolate chip cookies... yum!  And I used the Air Fryer for my cauliflower "Veggie Tots" - also yum!  And made pasta... yay!

Judge took today off, which makes this a 4-day weekend for me!  Today has been pretty great so far.  Slept in, walk/jogged with Peloton's "You Can Run" program, grocery pickup, cooked and baked, quick trip to Maurices to buy some flare jeans and a couple new shirts - yay, and now a relaxing blogging and movie night!!

Today is the 2-year anniversary of the Disney+ app, so they released lots of new content, including Jungle Cruise and Enchanted... I definitely went for Enchanted first. lol

The song "That's How You Know" is filmed all through Central Park, and it always makes me happy seeing places in movies where I've been and taken photos! =)  Like Bow Bridge...
