You guys!! It's Anthony Hill, who plays Dr. Winston Ndugu (husband of Meredith's half-sister, Maggie Pierce on Grey's Anatomy)! He also had a guest starring role in This Is Us in the episode with Randall's birth mom. I had to psych myself up to ask for a photo, but he was very kind about it. I said, "Thanks so much - I'm a big fan of Grey's!" And he said, "Thanks for watching the show still!" lolol I laughed pretty hard about that. This was during the OSU game on Saturday -- Dad has the suite tickets this year, and I'm thinking it was worth it if only for this! lol
Winston!! ❤ I immediately texted Kristin W and Tiffany, my only remaining friends who are fellow Grey's fans! lol
Mom asked if he went to OSU. I had no idea... but after a quick Google search, he is, in fact, a former football player for the Cowboys!! So that's pretty awesome... and further proof that I know very little about sports, but I do know my TV stars!
Anyway, it was T-man's first college football game, and it was fun times! We ate the free food and sat inside and took pics with celebrities over the first quarter ;-) then we sat outside for the second and third quarters. It was nice out, and the crowd was kinda sparse since it was a blowout game against Arkansas Pine-Bluff.
I thought it was really nice that their marching band made an Oklahoma shape for us! lol I'm sure it takes a lot of practice to get these formations just right, so I was impressed that they bothered to learn one for another state. Their very animated announcer said, "This one's for you, Oklahoma!" lol
Thanks to Triston wanting to get away from the mass chaos of the main crowd, we found a cute little side room with nicer couches and chairs... not positive we were supposed to be in there, but it's where we saw Anthony, so I'm happy for that. This = me and T just before I gathered my courage to ask Anthony for a photo. lol
Hooray for covered seating and a good amount of wind to keep us cool!
Speaking of cowboys... here's the Jaceman hamming it up on Mamaw's old saddle (in Grandad's hat and boots and spurs!
He's a funny one, and these pics all make me happy!
Yesterday, we went to JoBug's to return the lasso, boots, spurs, and hat. She was wearing a shirt she got as a retirement gift from the other teachers. (She sings that song at the end of every school year, so it's pretty perfect and cute and thoughtful!)
They also got her these cute quotable coasters with some of her catchphrases - fun!
After JoBug's, Mom dropped me, T, and K off at Quail Springs to return a couple things, buy Kyndal a belated birthday present (after MUCH deliberation, she chose pink Nike shoes), and grab some Auntie Anne's and Great American Cookies!
Last night was dinner at Pelican's with Dad's side of the family... Gus and Marilyn are here for Gus to join the men in the CHA Golf Tournament today!
Then today at 11am, I took an extra-long long lunch (YAY) and joined the ladies of the fam + Kristin's boys for a quick tour of my house!! Hot in there, but it was fun to see it with everyone!

Then Marilyn bought us lunch at Olivetto! ❤ (And then I returned to work to write this. lol)
And that pretty much brings us up to speed. Aside from fun family events, it's been the boring civil trial last week (and another one starting tomorrow), a lot of schoolwork, and enjoying some Audible books... including these gems!! I've seen both movies multiple times, so it's lovely to hear the books and be able to vividly picture the settings and characters!
This = Triston's Macbook cleaning cloth... J&K have set drinks on it before, and he did not appreciate it, so he wrote this lil' note. I laughed about all of the above!
That's all I've got for you now. Tonight is dinner at The Ranch, which is always a treat! I hope your week is off to a good start!!
