Happy Tuesday, friends! I'm giving myself 15 minutes to write a blog post, then I'm buckling down for some serious school work the rest of today... because I'll be covering a Jury Trial for another CR tomorrow through Friday.
It was a lovely break week from school last week, and a good weekend that included another viewing of Spider-Man: No Way Home with Jace and Triston... Jace had a lot of thoughts to share during the movie, and it was funny to see him get so excited as he started piecing things together! We sat in the balcony seats at Warren, then me and Tman took the stairs and Jace took the elevator down, and when the elevator doors opened, he was in a full battle-ready side lunge pose like his new favorite superhero(s)! Hilarious!! ...I asked him to do it again for a picture, and he insisted we should be by the movie poster. lol
Fun times... T's slightly annoyed smirk makes me laugh just as much as Jace's over-abundance of excitement! The rest of the day, Jace was shooting fake webs and calling himself "your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man!" lol
Also, if I had to choose an actor to play Triston in a movie, it would be Tom Holland! They have a similar look, and the way Tom plays Peter Parker was reminding me of Tman - a good combination of studious and smart, thoughtful, playful, confident, determined, and caring.
After that, we hopped over to AT&T to upgrade Mom, Dad, and T's phones! I eventually took J&K to Starbucks while Mom and Triston were working with the salesman, but Jaceman had wasted no time in putting his photo as the background on several computers and phones throughout the store. lol #hotmess
The afternoon also included a few rounds of Checkers with the Miss K (I ordered this on Amazon after seeing her love for it during our Cracker Barrel dinner).
She's competitive in a way that cracks me up, and she's smart enough to beat me, Rach, and Triston multiple times without anyone "letting her win." She gets so excited and just laughs and laughs when she traps your or double jumps you. lol #sweetandspicy #preshface
Speaking of her being a preshface, here's a throwback pic from a few years ago when she was trying to stay the night with Mamaw and Grandpa and me, but still wide awake bc she was feeling homesick (and went home not long after this photo). So freaking cute with her little PJs and pacifier!
A couple funny memes from Chettles:
I'm about 20 years late to this party, but my love for The West Wing is still going strong! Allison Janney and Rob Lowe are my favorites in the cast, and Aaron Sorkin is undoubtedly my favorite film/TV writer, so it's a win for me!
That's all I've got for today! Hope you all have a fabulous week!!
"May the God of hope fill you
with all joy and peace in believing
[through the experience of your faith]
that by the power of the Holy Spirit
you will abound in hope
and overflow with confidence in His promises."
~Romans 15:13
