Photo Friday!

Happy Friday, friends!  Here's a quick photo-filled update whilst we are waiting on a verdict on what may indeed by the most boring civil trial ever... nevermind, they literally came back with a verdict as I was typing that sentence!  So now I'm writing a quick post before I leave for the weekend... hooray!!

Here's Jace Michael doing a quick science experiment during our family dinner, seeing whether an Alka-Seltzer will dissolve faster in vinegar, 7-up, or water!  (Spoiler alert: It's the water.)

The Mini Miss K was cold at Ted's and pulled her hoodie all the way up... I was trying for a selfie and she immediately put her hand up to waive and said she could see my phone through the hoodie. lol

She was entertaining us that night with a story about a group chat with her friends!

Jaceman did a mini-presentation on Grandad (which he was excited about since he got to dress up in cowboy hat, boots and spurs, and carry a lasso).  Mom made him this collage to use as he talked about the cowboy culture. =)

Rachael was bitten by some kind of disgusting, venomous spider early this week... it wasn't bad at first, but progressively got worse - her foot and ankle were very swollen and red and painful! =(  Urgent Care didn't help much, but I think she's doing better after an ER visit yesterday!

Random turn of thought, but I'm a big fan of actress Florence Pugh!  She's been good in everything I've seen her in, the best of which was her role as Amy March in Little Women (making the least likable character far more human and understandable and likable)!

And now, a few pics of my house - we're in the finishing touches stage at this point, which is super fun!

My bedroom - love the ceiling in there!

Yay for my oven/stove!  ...My new backsplash is pretty great, too!! ❤

Just need to pick out a counter-depth fridge to complete the look!

Fireplace surround is in, along with the living room fan!  I'm looking forward to them adding blinds soon!

And I'm happy about this fun light in my entryway!

Okay, that's it.  I'd love to stay and chat, but it's time to go home!!  Have a lovely weekend ahead! ❤

May you stand in grace, rejoicing in the hope of the glory of God!
