Hey friends, and Happy Monday!! This is day four of a lovely long weekend for me. Yay!
I've gotten to catch up on sleep + TV shows + school stuff + time with friends and family! I have a group project to finish up on my own today, then tomorrow, it'll be time to catch up on work transcripts and start prepping for my move 12 DAYS from now!!
Here's my house about a week ago... I have a yard!! And carpet and pendant lights and more. The biggest thing I can see that hasn't been done yet is the hardware on all the drawers and cabinets. That'll be fun to see on Wednesday when we do our official walk-through to check everything over!
I'm happy about my bathroom tile, and so looking forward to having a bathtub again!
This = the new headboard I ordered for my bed. It's been a fun sleigh bed for a while, but this is really pretty and will give me more space!
On Saturday, I made a bright and early trip to Tulsa! I caught this lovely sunrise moment that made me start singing Circle of Life from The Lion King. lol Then I had my 9am hair appointment with Janelle, followed by my first trip to Cookie Mama right across the street - yum!
I killed some time at I Heart Mac n' Cheese and Woodland Hills and listening to Harry Potter in my car... then grabbed some CFA lemonade and headed to Chet's for a fun "movie night!" The plan was watching two Marvel movies, but instead we watched part of Pitch Perfect 2, some Whitney Houston tribute/reaction videos, and for me, about five minutes of Black Widow. lol I left early to do dinner at Charleston's with Sarah, so I missed most of that movie, but I was happy to be there for the chatty portion of the evening and to see Parker and Tate and Harvey and Heidi! ...Mark made the mistake of asking, "So what does Whitney Houston sing?" and it led to Chet immediately singing "I Wanna Dance with Somebody," me and Don and Cantrell belting out "The Greatest Love of All," and us watching videos with her Star-Spangled Banner and I Will Always Love You! lol Fun times.
Anyway, dinner with Sarah Elizabeth was fun - we were there from about 7:30-9:45 and had a good catch-up session that ended in us saying we're thankful for each other and quoting Harry Potter about how we feel sorry for people who will never know love or friendship. lolol
Sunday morning was LifeChurch with the fam, followed by Saltgrass Steakhouse (I'm finally learning that it's two words and not three). Carter joined them and spent the night on Friday and Saturday, and it was really good to see him again!
This = some adorable pictures of my honorary niece and nephew, Tate and Parker... I love how much he is hamming it up on these. The wink and the Home Alone face are both pretty classic!
Here's Bill and Jill's new French bulldog puppy. They got her some sunglasses because she was squinting a lot, and it's the very cutest thing!!
Google Photos made me this of "Memories Together" with this group of friends... mostly our Big Cedar trip, but also a Friendsgiving and a Christmas game night thrown in there - FUN!!
Another fun meme from Chet... it's me starting back on WW this week instead of last week when I originally signed up! lol
That's all I've got for you today. Time to work on my happy group project (never my favorite) then head to watch Carter's last home football game. Hope you have an absolutely fabulous week ahead!! ❤
