Photo Friday: June Gems

Happy Friday, friends!! ❤  Okay, jumping right in since I should really be working on transcripts and/or school stuff right now... in my defense, it's a light school week, and Judge is at a Judicial Conference, so my motivation to be super-worky is lacking. lol

And now, several delightful photos from during the blog break that I don't want going unseen.
Starting with this cuteness of me and the Wilson kids... I love Tate's expression and I love that Parker is barefoot and holding her Disney umbrella to the side... and I love Karli's cute umbrella (that I'm holding here)... fun!

More kid-related cuteness... Parker being happy about the Ludger's cake + Tate and Kate playing together + the Wilson kids being as excited about watermelon scoops as I would've been about cookie dough or ice cream at their age + a lovely cut-off photo by Tate! lol

After a Sunday lunch at Ted's

This collage = Mom being awesome: decorating Babah's doorway for the 4th of July (along with her scooter... they had a scooter parade there, and I find that very cute)... then Mom bringing an Atlas to go over the route to Colorado with my directionally-clueless self... then Mom baking and decorating extra brownies for me to take to Tulsa!  She's having some minimal side effects now, but she's set to finish radiation next Thursday - pray with me that this treatment was effective and the side effects stay minimal!!

A small group selfie by Professor Tompkins at CCU

Transformers movie night with J&K (who had both already seen it with Rachael).  The icees and narration from Jace + Kyndal kicking off her shoes then holding her eyes open to stay awake during the previews were all fun for me! lol

My handsome nephew, Carter Lee, and his friendly show horse, Tosca.

Rachael coaching the Miss K's Premier volleyball team... that's been fun to watch!  Kyndal turned around right as I was taking that first picture. lol

"I'm just like my country - I'm young, scrappy, and hungry - and I'm not throwin away my shot!"  That was T's favorite song - it's a toss-up between all 46 for me. lol

Just a random gif I sent Rach when I got G-14 as my movie seat.  I love when a G-14 be comin' around! lol

Saved meme... this image feels true for me in relation to health goals and motivation, but it's the mid-point of 2023, and I will keep moving forward!

Our group pic at Mom and Dad's anniversary dinner at Charleston's!  It always makes me happy to have Bill and Jill join us...

Jill got this hat for Bill (with her fav French bulldog on it), and it cracks me up!

We went through several old photos, letters, etc. at State Farm as we started planning for the 40-year celebration in August.  This = Dad's 3rd annual Christmas letter in 1985 announcing "Rachel or Travis is due the end of January." lol  I never knew Travis was a name contender, and the line "Maxine has informed me this will be it!" made me laugh and think of Kyle and Sarah.  For the record, Rach-A-el arrived late on February 11th.  I asked Mom about that spelling change and she said she wanted it to be 7 letters to match my name.  Yay for 7s! =)

A Polaroid of Rach and I hanging out with Valerie in the early SF days, a flier for insurance after Mom and Dad's 2011 wreck, the staff celebrating 30 years ten years ago (the date on that camera was clearly incorrect), Rach finding a magazine about MJ that she had saved from her days working at State Farm, and an old pic of Dad and his older brothers!

How interested the Miss K was in all of this reminiscing. lol

A more recent pic of the kids 1st trip to Disney World with Josh and Chandler!

Thinking of Disney makes me think of the Wilsons and Fosters, both big fans and frequent vacationers there... Chet was kind enough to Facetime me when they all hung out in June... that made me happy, and so do these photos! ❤

Okay, that's all I've got for you today!
Back to work for me... ooor maybe a quick walk outside first. lol
Have a fabulous weekend ahead!!
