First off, wow, my judge is apparently at a Judicial Conference all day today and tomorrow... why on earth am I here!? lol When I head home at noon, I'll be done till Monday. =)
Secondly, I heard back from Ransomed Heart yesterday, and they have filled the position... I was definitely disappointed, but thanks to several great sermons I've heard recently, I did a better job staying in peace than I usually would! It got me thinking about my motives... I always say I wanna do something great for God's kingdom, but I can do so much for Him right here, right now. I need to stop being concerned about having a ministry job title, and to focus on God's opinion and on being a light where He has placed me! So that was a good reminder. I'm happy I applied, and I do believe God wanted me to do that and that He is directing my steps right now. I've been thinking about what's in the future for me... and something I really enjoy, especially since I started this blog, is writing... so that's something I'm going to consider more seriously and continue working on. But for now, I'm going to keep enjoying life, growing with God, and doing what I can to impact others right here!
