So my beautiful sister, Rachael, has a craft business called Sparklesnmesh... (click HERE for the FB page). I've mentioned it here a few times...
Here are some examples of her wreaths (it's $65 for a custom 24-inch wreath and chalkboard - you can Message on her page to order). They're always bright and colorful and sparkling and fun and creative, very reflective of her expressive personality!

They make great gifts for teachers or friends... and she's done several sports-themed wreaths that are always a hit!
I can't begin to tell you how many times Mom and I did the little craft projects back in the day because she said she was "not creative." #false I think she really believed that then, and she has surprised herself with this talent... she's gotten so much better even in the short time she's had this business, and it's been exciting to watch! :)

This was one of my favorites:
In the beginning, I helped set up the Sparklesnmesh FB page and "boosted" one post using my Paypal ($10 for FB to share it as an ad so more people will see it). She got 10-15 new followers through that, so she's been boosting posts here and there along the way since then... but it's still tied to my Paypal account, so she has to pay me back every time, and it was becoming a hassle!
I suggested that she try a giveaway contest where you have to like and share to be entered... that way, the post would "boost itself" for free! I suggested this several times over the past few months, and she always didn't seem to think it would go very well or be very popular...
She finally tried it last Thursday, and I took this pic about 3 hours into the contest. lol
Got this text from her the next morning. (It was a gif image that cracked me up!) She told me she was planning to just write down the name of everyone who shared it and put them in a hat for a drawing... she vetoed that idea about 500 "shares" in. lol ...People heart free stuff!!
By the end of the 4-day Contest, her post was shared over 4,500 times and she gained over 2,700 new followers (started with about 1,075). Yeah. She's also gotten almost 50 new wreath orders already, and several more people interested and asking about prices and shipping!! It got a bit overwhelming and intense trying to respond to the comments and questions (I was helping with that part), and we were glad she hadn't made the contest any longer... this was early Monday morning.

It was pretty fun to watch the numbers multiply so quickly, and I felt vindicated and had to call and tell her, "I told you so!" ;-)
