"May grace, mercy, and peace, which come from God our Father and from Jesus Christ His Son, be with us who live in truth and love!" ~2 John 1:3 Happy day of new beginnings and fresh starts! ...God's mercy is new every morning, so any day could qualify as a new beginning, but the start of a new year always brings fresh hope. Last night was simple and fun... hibachi style dinner at Osaka and discussing our goals for the coming year, then watching Get Smart and ringing in the new year at the Wilsons -- just me, Sarah, Chet, and Karli! And Lucy and Pippa, of course. ;)
This morning, I slept in then went to watch Lauralai in the Polar Bear Plunge (where they have to dive into an almost-freezing outdoor pool three times along the way, then fish their medals from the bottom of the pool on the last plunge). #crazysauce It was definitely entertaining, and I got some great pics!
That was followed by McAlister's lunch and Planet Fitness, then mapping out my Bible reading for the year ahead and hanging out with the girlfranz! :) Now, here's one last pic - some random cuteness for you. #photoFriday :)
I'm so thankful that Mom saved this dress... me, Rach, Emily, and Kyndal Faith all have pictures in it now. The left pic is me in 1986, and the right is preshface K-Faith 30 years later. :) I love it! The hand placement and open mouth smile similarity was a happy accident, so I collaged these two side by side. I'll find the ones of Rach and Emily to make a full collage sometime soon. :) Anyway, happy Friday, and have a great first weekend of 2016!!
