Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday to my wonderful Mom today!! =)

(*Please pray for her back to get better -- she's been in continual, almost-crippling pain over the last month or two, and nothing the doctors have done seems to help. It's right as they're in the midst of moving and decorating their new house, so it's doubly frustrating for her. Pray for physical healing and for God to guard her heart and hope in the midst of this pain.)

I spent this long weekend in MWC celebrating Mom's birthday with the fam... I helped Mom hang some pictures and make a fun collage (below) for "Jace's room," helped Rach a tiny bit with her wreaths and chalkboards, and saw 13 Hours with Charlene and Mom and Dad!

I'm calling this cowboy corner... it's Mom's old saddle, then pictures of Grandad back in the day (and a couple with Babah).  I love it!!

Anyway, today, we had Hideaway with Bill and Jill for lunch - they're always fun, and we talked about our upcoming trip - then went to McAlister's with the Parrishes for Mom's b-day dinner. In classic Evan & Jessica style, Josh and Rach didn't realize the other had gotten anything, so we had a giant Eileen's sugar cookiecake from Rach (above) and a giant Great American cookiecake from Joshua!! lol  Not to mention that Georgia also made a plate of her awesomesauce sugar cookies for the occasion. #nocomplaints #backontracktomorrow
