While Jessica was on the other side of the room dancing J-Lo style! lol
Chet (annoyed they hadn't already guessed it) "Okaaaay, Mark Anthony, twins, the Wedding Planner!!"
Eating potato soup and chatting with Rach at Mom and Dad's, Elf playing in the background:
"Hey Linds, call me when the naked girl comes on!! She's gonna be so silly!" ~Jaceman, casually interrupting our talk and making me almost choke on my soup! lol (Super innocent, but the phrasing was hilarious... he loves the scene where Jovie is singing in the shower then she yells at Buddy when he starts singing with her - and no, they don't show anything - PG superfun movie!)
"Mmm, I smull pancakes! Diju get sayrup!?" ~Miss K, excited about breakfast-for-dinner!
"Can we go play on the F-O-R-T, please!?" ~Jace, who's heard it spelled by adults so many times he's just saying it that way now! lol
T-man: "Watch! I can make myself cry."
(Eventually he did tear up.)
Me: "That's impressive - you could be an actor!"
T-man, laughing: "They'd just have to cut the scene for a minute! But yeah, I'm gonna either be a doctor or an actor. And then I'm gonna retire and buy lots of toys!!"
Me: "Perfect - a man with a plan!" Lol
"Well, go big or... die trying!" -Chet's response to LB signing up for 2 Full marathons coming right up lol
Jace (3/4 through our Sunday lunch): "We forgot to say grace!!"
Rach: "Well, we're almost done eating, but we still can. You wanna pray for us?"
Jace: "Ummmm, no, I can't, because it hurts my jaw." lol
The shyness and jaw pain hit worst at prayer time.
Looking through Match.com with the Wilsons and Laura:
Chet - reading a guy's profile - "If you're interested in quality conversation" -- (turning to me and nodding) "We are!!"
Me: "We?" :)
Me: "It just always ends up irritating me, so I haven't bothered looking at it for the last few days."
Chettles: "Lindsey, here's the thing - I'm gonna BOLD you: Change the way you look at things, and the things you look at change! ...Oh, and come from contribution! What do you have to lose!?" :)

Me: "This song is dumb, but I can't help liking it!"
Mom (later): "So this is Gwen Stefani and Missy Elliott!?"
Me: "Wow, I can totally hear how you thought that! But no, it's Iggy Azalea."
Mom: "Iggy?"
Me: "I-g-g-y ...with her name in bold!"
Jaceman: "Guess who I'm gonna marry!? ...Claire!" (the teacher's daughter in his class)
Jace, a few minutes later: "Mom, boys kiss girls; right!?"
Rach: "Sometimes they do. Why? Did you kiss Claire at school?"
J: "Not at school, but I kissed her in the gym! She said, 'Okay, okay, you can kiss me!'"
Rach: "Hmm, had you asked her if you could?"
J (awkward sideways glance making sure he wasn't in trouble...) "Yes. And Claire told me that I'm her boyfriend and she's my girlfriend!" =)
He's a mess, but so cute - the Jaceman has zero confidence problems!! lol I need to meet this Claire... :)
