Today's "tribute" post goes to my one and only sister, Rachael!! ❤

Rachael LaJo, you are awesome because...

• You are fun-loving and outgoing and great at making other people feel comfortable!
• You are crazy talented, and your artistic skills keep growing as you practice them!
• I love your creative freedom - that you don't hesitate or overthink things like I tend to do, but just go for it knowing you can fix any mistakes later!
• Your awesome wreaths, chalkboards, bulletin boards, t-shirts, furniture, DVD cabinets, cards, and other creative gifts have brought more JOY and color to so many homes and classrooms! ❤
• You are beautiful inside and out, very photogenic!  And you have great fashion sense, and you let me borrow your cute clothes! lol
• You're also a trained hairstylist, so your hair and Kyndal Faith's hair always look fantastic!

• You are raising four of my favorite people on earth: Triston, Carter, Jace, and Kyndal!
• The kids light up whenever they see you - they look up to you and love you so much (example: see Kyndal's face in the boat pictures below)!!
• Your Extended Care Director job at CHA let's you see them every day, and you get to work with kids of all ages, helping them begin and end their school day with something fun!
• You enjoy life and do a good job making the best of the constant activity swirling around you: soccer, gymnastics, baseball, basketball, CrossFit Kids, school programs, birthdays, lake trips, pool days, and more!
• You are great at planning big parties and events and making the kids' lives more fun!

• Growing up together, I was closer to your classmates than my own, and I'm thankful you were okay with us having lots of mutual friends (Holly, Megan, Mark, etc.)! =)
• Your varied musical tastes, slight road rage issues, and ability to quote our fav movies and TV shows are entertaining and fun for me! lol
• I've been the photographer and video editor for lots of your family stuff, and you've made me several thoughtful creative gifts through the years!  We have so many shared memories and stories.  I am thankful for all the joy and life you've brought to our family, and I'm very thankful to have a sister to connect with! =)
