"Let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts,
for as members of one body, you are called to live in peace.
And always be thankful!"
~Colossians 3:15
Today, I am thankful for:
1. Great teachers like Mrs. Garner who pay attention to and celebrate what makes each student unique, inspire them to grow and come up higher, teach them to love Jesus, and care enough to spend time with them outside of school! I love that she came to see Triston and Jace when they got baptized, and that her birthday song says: "You are special, hooray! God made you that way! Happy Birthday, God bless you! You are special, hooray!" lol ❤ Super precious! (Video below)
2. Having little things to look forward to... including trying Press Waffle Co. sometime soon (saw it on Shark Tank, and the waffles looked amazing and they all raaaved about it). There is one in Plano, TX now, but the next one they open will be in OKC! #getexcited #wafflenight #birthdayroadtrip?
3. My happy new dress, even though it's currently way too long (as per usual). lol I love the design, though, and once I get it hemmed, it'll be super cute! =)4. My new office chair!! ...I'm thankful for how helpful everyone was - Amanda (our court clerk) got me a replacement chair within hours of me mentioning that mine was broken, then Becky ordered me the new one I requested, and it arrived very quickly too! (I sat on that partially broken chair for months not wanting to bother anyone, and it was affecting my back, so I finally said something... I absolutely should've spoken up sooner and had more faith in people caring - lesson learned!)
5. The little things that make my introvert heart happy and calm... cereal with bananas for dinner, lovely pink roses, a pink rose-scented candle, and bubble baths with peppermint oil!
6. Pastor Sam from LifeChurch MWC - he's nice and funny, and I'm a fan of him! Also thankful for having parents who are kind and creative enough to host a wedding for friends at their home!!
7. All the things that make me laugh, including Gina Linetti on Brooklyn 99. They've removed her character and made the whole tone of the show more serious now that it's on NBC, but I'll always be a fan of her sarcasm and crazy confidence! =) #100emoji #missheralready #yayreruns
That's all for now. Happy Thursday, friends!
