Thankful Thursday!!! (49)

"May the LORD bless you and protect you.
May the LORD smile on you and be gracious to you.
May the LORD show you His favor and give you His peace."

Today, I'm so thankful for...
1.  Jace Michael!  For him wrapping his tiny baby fingers around my hand, and getting to pray over him while I held him for a while!  And for the reminder of how helpless we must seem at times to God, and how precious we are in His heart as His children.  PRECIOUS.

2.  The promises in Psalm 139... and knowing that we are fearfully and wonderfully made... in the image of God!!

3.  That Travis, the MWC Campus Lifegroups Pastor, took the time to come visit for a while and pray with our entire family over Jace and Josh and Rachael!  (We all stood in a circle holding hands, and even though Carter got impatient with his long prayer and let out a huge sigh toward the end (so funny), it was really a great moment!)  I often find myself wanting to snap a picture during prayers like that, but don't want to be irreverent or miss the point.  I do have a mental picture on file, though, of that and of the night we did the same thing in Blake's basement at Lifegroup!  Awesome!!

4.  The general awesomeness that is February... my nephew was born, no blizzard this year, Mom is now a year cancer free, the fun Lemieux Superbowl Party, LG has been deeper and new friendships are growing, Joyce has been on it lately, I'm reading 2 great books, I jogged a full mile for the first time in a long time on Tuesday, I'm starting classes on the 20th, Blake's B-day, Rach's B-day, Valentines day, red and pink and hearts and candy and flowers, The Vow, my 28th birthday, cookiecake, 2-22, leap year craziness, and having two weeks to catch up at work thanks to jury term!! Love it! =)

5.   God's love.... I'm keeping a daily list of the 'random acts of kindness' for my February goal, and a separate daily list of ways I can see/feel God's love in my life!  The second has been far more exciting!! =)
6.  Ruth's group celebrating my birthday this past Tuesday... they did dinner and brownies and ice cream and a fun "cheers"-ing toast to me :) and b-day gifts... they went above and beyond and I really felt loved!
7.  Johnnies awesome cheeseburgers with the grated cheese. lol  I always get the kids meal when I go there - yay for Teddy Grahams!  This was my lunch on Jace's b-day. =) 

8.  Dinner that night was Hideaway with Malori Riah... whom I am also very thankful for!  She's my best and closest friend and feels more like family to me at this point.  I love so many things about our friendship!
