Last week was JoBug's birthday, so here's a happy collage I made for that. ❤ =)
I write down my favorite verse (or the one that speaks to me most) from each day's reading section, and I love having them in this book. I'll get through the whole Bible by the end of 2019, but I have had a lot of catch-up days this year, which means a lot of days without sitting down to read God's Word... so my goal for 2020 is to do a better job being consistent with a daily routine, even if what I read each day is shorter. ...On Robyn's recommendation, I have started using the PrayerMates app, and it's helped me be more consistent about praying. (You put several things into different prayer list categories, then it randomly selects certain verses and people from those lists and reminds you to pray at a certain time.)
Disney+ came out on November 12th, and I'm a fan!! Me and all the children. lolol
I Googled Christmas card ideas for singles, and this one made me laugh out loud! =)
The JaceMan drew this handsome soldier for Veteran's Day! He's walking with an American flag behind him. lol It makes me happy!
Speaking of soldiers, Jace stopped on his way to our table at Cheddar's to say "Thanks for your service" to three Army guys having lunch there. It was very precious! On their way out, one of them brought this to him, which he was super excited about. He kept telling us we had to salute him now! lolol
Painfully true...
The Miss K has perfected her back walkover. Very impressive!
Jace Michael taking care of his Fall Festival prize goldfish (changing the water bowl).
We played several fun rounds of "I-Spy" during our Sunday lunch at Cheddars! Kyndal got so excited when she would get one right - here she is trying to guess Triston's clue with some croissant butter on her lip. lol #preshface
My Evergreen Lifegroup had their Friendsgiving feast on Sunday. It was fun times, and I made Tiffany's corn casserole recipe for the first time, which was delicious! Group going clockwise = Ben (taking the selfie) and his wife Heather, me, Matt and Susie, Erica and Garret, Ashley, Laura and Jake. I'm glad to finally have a picture of this group (and yes, I was the one to bring that up and make it happen - lol). =)
The Foster's group was last night, but Kristin was sick. =( Me and these four (Jon, Audrey, Tim and Mandy) played Carcassonne. It was my first time playing that game, and it was fun! I've never been very competitive, and I like slower-paced games where everyone can chat around!!
I've been helping T-man a bit with a big "Home Study" project they have to do in 6th grade at CHA. I helped him map out a family tree (which I won't post here because of all the names, but I'm proud of how it turned out) then made this collage to go along with it! You also have to document memories and goals and such, and it's been interesting chatting with him and learning how he sees things and what he remembers and what is fun for him! ❤
And in conclusion, here's another random meme I liked. I've been in a super melancholy, Ecclesiastes-level mood lately, but I'm finally pulling out of it. Every day is a fresh start, so give yourself grace and start with a clean slate today!! ❤
