MLK Monday Memes

Happy Monday, friends!  Hope you're doing well and enjoying the day off.  And now, my latest meme collection...

This cuteness = me this week with grad school. lol

Good reminder...

Kinda feeling this two weeks in. lol

My bestest niece, mini Miss K, made her first goal in Saturday's basketball game!  I'm so glad I got to see it!!

Love them and their brothers! ❤

This is on my lunch-walk path on Main Street in Norman, and whilst I don't love that there are a zillion of these shops all over the state, the "Coughy Shop" part of this logo made me laugh!

YES.  Courage and grit.

Yay, Chet Lee!!  I love the new business logo and photo!

Truth. Working on this.

Love the new stain on my back fence!

Yay, Creek County Judges (Golden, Hake, Farris, Hammers, Serner).

And yay, Cleveland County Judges (Tupper, Stanley, Edwards, Virgin, Walkley, Balkman).
*Not pictured: Judge Brockman, Puckett, Childers, and Hales.

Aww, Clue - that was fun times!
Lol we try so hard to find points of connection.

Me back in the day when the group was headed to the Caravan and I was ready to go home.

Lol yum.
Feeling this pretty hard these first two weeks (at work and school mostly).

Interesting.  Loved this cartoon!  Can still sing the theme song!

Ha I so loved the Terrible Twister ride!!  I'd love to see a photo of us on it back in the day!

Rest is always on my stuff to do list, so I'd call this a success!

Lindsay and fam did a photo shoot in all black to commemorate Sharon's passing.  Love it, love her!

Bill and Jill brought their new French bulldog named Paris over.  The pic of Jace holding her cracks me up with how crazy she looks! =)

Always worth speaking truth in love, even when they seem unreceptive.

Beauty that arises out of brokenness is really God's specialty.

What they say here is definitely true.  But another caption for it could be that even when we feel like a complete mess, God is creating something beautiful in our lives, and we should try to see it from His perspective.

This = my wonderful classmates in a CCU course that I have dropped today.  They assigned an absurd amount of work in our first week (which happened to coincide with Mom's surgery and a busy work week), so I'm doing myself a favor and picking it back up later.  I don't love that, but I think it's good to acknowledge reality when I'm in over my head... and to know I can step back and regroup without giving up entirely!!

Truth... but "everyday" should be two words here. lol
Mom is still doing very well - and we are very grateful.  I don't know how everyone else is feeling, but I'm still a little tense and on edge after the past week.  I was internally braced for things to go differently, so I'm still slowly easing into a more relaxed state... I love the promises in the verse below, and I'm trying to keep my mind on Jesus and His faithfulness and sustaining power!

"I keep the Lord in mind always.  Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.  Therefore my heart is glad and my spirit rejoices; my body also rests securely." ~Psalm 16:8-9

That's all for today, friends and family! ❤
