I am facing a very unexpected roadblock with my school program and seeking further clarification before making any major decisions. I would appreciate your prayers for wisdom.
In the midst of feeling confused and irrationally frustrated with God about all of this yesterday, I was thinking about how it feels like I keep getting knocked down as I try to move forward with meaningful goals. But then my mind flashed to the scene in Captain Marvel (HERE) where she sees herself getting back up over and over, and it helps her move into her full power when it really matters most...
Man, I love that scene! The enemy reminds us of every fall, hoping to weaken us and make us feel alone and defeated. But God reminds us of how often we've stood back up, strengthening us as we keep moving toward victory! So here's to trusting God and getting back up as many times as it takes!!
In other news, I'm thankful that Jace Michael's first surgery went well this morning (he broke a finger playing basketball, and it affected the growth plate and required surgery). I know he was nervous about it, and he looks so little and vulnerable here. Prayers appreciated for him as he recovers over the next few weeks!
