Thankful Thursday #156

"May God bless you all.  Yes, I pray that God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ will give each of you His fullest blessings and His peace in your hearts and your lives.  All my prayers for you are full of praise to God!  When I pray for you, my heart is full of joy!"  ~Philippians 1:2-4

Today, I am thankful for:

1. Jace Michael, my entertaining and headstrong nephew, who turns 11 today!!  (Poor guy broke a finger on his right hand - his writing hand - last weekend and now has to sit out the rest of basketball season, and he's having surgery next week and has to wear a cast for a few weeks after that - rough times!)

2.  Happy Birthday, Jaceman!  I'm thankful to have been there from the beginning... and praying for God to guide him and guard him as he grows and matures! ❤

3. Tate Haywood, my adorable honorary nephew, who turns 5 today!  This is one of my favorite pics of him, and I did a warp-speed effect behind it since he loves Star Wars! lol

4. For the original Muecke kids... now five instead of six... my Uncle Gus, Aunt Nancy, Aunt Georgia, Aunt Charlene, and Dad!!  (This pic is from their Texas trip last weekend!)

5. For having a secure and stable job... I'm *not* thrilled that we're open on this icy/slippery day, but reminding myself to be thankful for work and for making it here without falling or having a wreck!

*Also very thankful that the jury trial we had set to start this morning just announced that they're going to enter a plea instead. =)

6.  Thankful that God is powerful and good and can be trusted to make everything beautiful at the right time! (Ecclesiastes 3:11)

7.   For courage of conviction... and little words of confirmation from God!

To make a long story short, a recent school assignment is causing me to reconsider the counseling degree.  I'm proud of the paper I have written, and I need more clarification from my professors about the updated ACA codes.  I'm not entirely sure what this will mean for me and my career path going forward... but I trust that God is with me and for me, and that is enough for today!!

The light of Christ inside us cannot be hidden
or pushed under something to blend with the dark world.
Let your light shine before others today, friends!! ❤
