And In Real Life...

The portions of my weekend that were not spent in a movie theater were also pretty great. lol

I drove to Sand Springs and back last night... Chet Lee and I joined the Fulton fam for dinner at their place... Karli wasn't feeling well, and Steve watched Kate for a while.  It was nice getting to catch up with my Tulsa Besties, aka the Scavenger Hunt group of '08! =)

The necklace for the win again!

Sarah was in the kitchen looking for Steve and didn't see him, then I got very cracked up when Chet mentioned that he was in camouflage and blended with the chair... it's true! lol

Chet helping Sarah make the chicken spaghetti... Kate saying goodnight to us in her cuddly sleep-sack, Chet reading Kate a book about elephants stomping (then she got up and started stomping in her chair - lol), and me and Kate hanging out on the couch... Sarah was annoyed that Kate quickly smiled and said "cheese" every time I wanted a photo, as she hasn't had that same luck with her. lol

Here she is excitedly showing me that her pants have pockets! lol

A very thoughtful, very belated birthday card for me from Sarah! lol

Chet left around 8:15, and Steve put Kate to bed then went to bed early whilst me and Sarah got to have a nice long talk... we've missed that for a while lately, so that was a treat.  I left a little after 11 and got home late, but I'm so grateful for getting to catch up with Chettles and Sarah Elizabeth on all the best memes and the more important things happening in our lives! lol

Earlier that morning, I went for a short walk at Central Park... it was nice weather but very windy out!  ...Before my temp-tattoo rubbed off at Sarah's house, I liked this one.  It's my current focus word with God.

And finally, this was Kyndal's brunch plate this morning, which I found hilarious!  The kids don't really like much of the Gaillardia food, but she is a fan of bacon.

Okay, that's all I've got for you today, friends!  Hope you have a delightful week ahead! ❤
