Blog Burnout

This = my Top 10 core values, in order from Growth to Creativity.  Yay!

This = a newly revamped Regal theater in Norman (I was there this weekend)!  The Hollywood Theaters version originally opened in 1998, just in time for us to go see Titanic there multiple times! =)

Whilst home-bound with Covid, Mom put together awesome scrapbooks for me and Rachael with tons of childhood photos + certificates + church events + school projects and letters and more that she had saved for the past 20-30 years!!  Here's me in my pink sweater (top right) with my preschool class, five of whom I still recognize and know by name in this pic (Katie, Emily, Carly, Heath, and Shelly). =)  And below is me meeting a police officer - probably at some sort of school event?

So organized!  I like that the one thing I can read aside from the tabs is "The best way to have a friend is to be one."

Fun facts about 1984. =)  We were distracted by the game, but I'm so looking forward to taking my time to look through these books, mine and Rachael's!

Kyndal sitting with Rach as she opened her birthday cards! =)

Kyndal was a passionate, trash-talking 49ers fan last night... she didn't want the Chiefs to win because she was afraid Travis would propose and said that would be too soon... I fully appreciate her earned sense of relational caution there, but I'll be nothing but excited about that proposal if/when it happens!

Jace was thrilled about the snow and went out to build a muddy snowman... it started falling apart when he patted the head for this photo. lol  I'm sad the weather kept me from Jeff and Kelly's party in Tulsa, but it was a low-key fun night at Mom and Dad's, and I love when it's big snowflakes like that - so pretty!

Cupcakes for Rachael's 38th birthday, along with Great American cookies!

Trying to keep this in mind.

True story.

This game went into overtime, and the last few minutes were so fun to watch!  Yay for the Chiefs victory, although I was the only one in my family fully cheering for them! lol  As my shirt indicates, I'm a fan of T-Swift and Travis, and it makes me happy to see their joy and success in their careers and in their lives.

Timely encouragement from God earlier this weekend, not for any specific bitterness, just as a reminder that I am forgiven.

Happy Monday, and thanks for being here.  I know it's a very small, very loyal group of readers.  I typically love writing, but I'm feeling some writer's block along with a lot of burnout with blogging lately, and I keep circling the idea that I need to shut this down for good.  It's persistent and might be coming from God.  Maybe my 20s and 30s were for writing/publishing blogs, and my 40s will be about books... I like that idea!
