Throwback Thursday! (9121)

Thanks to my Xanga discovery, I found this old pic of our living room at 9121 all decorated for Christmas! :)  This is where I grew up -- where our family lived from my 3rd grade year (1993) until 2008, a year after I moved to Tulsa in 2007!  So I will always feel nostalgic about this house, even though it's outdated now and the new owners have completely ruined it. lol  It was so pretty at Christmas time and always fun to decorate with Mom, Trish, and Jackie!  Note that football is on TV (always, so that's appropriate) and that our fireplace has orange twinkly lights in it. :) #cuteandcozy

Here's me, Morgan, Rach, and Jesse by the front hallway wreath! :)  A presh Christmasy pic before we went to see Kanye in concert. lol  (Yes, I'm serious.)

This = a little collage of 9121.  The front yard, the piano room, the kitchen, the balcony, the pool, the staircase, the Mary Engelbreit room, the swings and basketball goal, and the pool table room!  I could list off several memories in each place, but I'll spare you that! lol  I miss it a bit, but I'm glad for the timing of their move - transition is somehow easier when it all happens at once!  Anyway, this was a great place to grow up, full of love and fun memories with family and lots of friends, so I'm very thankful for that!!!

This is the super-colorful Mary Engelbreit room -- I was a big M.E. fan and was quite proud of painting the flowers and garden fence and mirror frame at the time. :)

Here is Rachael's old room... both our rooms are awfully floral.  And hers especially cracks me up because it's sappy adorable Anne Geddes babies, an OSU corner, then her Lil' Wayne concert poster!!  She also had the same colorful phone that Mary had on 7th Heaven, so I was jealous of that. lol

This was my room.  Way too purple! lol  But I loved it then.  Pictures everywhere in frames and on bulletin boards, much like my home now. ;)

Mardel posters on the wall and my happy CD player on the floor (I listened to a lot of Mariah Carey in there)!  My window seat overlooked our backyard pool, and on the 4th of July, I had a great view of the fireworks up there (and of Holly doing sparklers by herself in the backyard)! lol  Anyway, that's really all my reminiscing for this week.  It's been fun, though. :)

Happy Thursday! =)
