10 ~ Book Discussion

A book you love - discuss:

I've already written pretty detailed posts about many of the books I love... Waking the Dead, Little Women, Quiet, Presence, Bittersweet, other Eldredge books, Blue Like Jazz, The Help, etc. We're in the middle of a long and painful trial this week and next, so I don't have a lot of time and can't think of a book I haven't already written about.

Instead, I'll discuss my love for audio books -- I'm a big fan! I have listened to 57 hours (7 books) over the past month since getting the Hoopla app where you can listen for free.  In the car, while cooking or cleaning around the house, at the gym, whatever - it's nice to be able to listen. Some people find it hard to focus and keep their attention on it, but it works for me. I loved "story time" as a child, and I still love having someone read to me, even if it's through the iPhone. lol  There are so many books I want to read and feel like I don't have time to just sit and devote completely to them, but this is a lovely option, so yay for audiobooks, including the audio Bible on YouVersion!!
