Chet Lee @ 33

On Sunday night, we celebrated Chet Lee's 33rd birthday!!  His original plan was to have a pool party and cookout and eat outside... then we had a torrential downpour of rain late Saturday and through part of that night, so their pool became murky and cold, and the weather was muggy and humid...  Sad.  But we had a fun dinner inside and still got a few cute pictures outside, as well!  My boots were definitely sinking into the muddy grass here. lol

Mom made extra dip so I could take some strawberries and dip for Chet's party - yum!

JEM and Chet cheers-ing their party hats. lol

Jeff and Kelly brought chips, and we got another classic pic of Jeff holding random things... although it wasn't on top of his head this time, so I didn't catch what he was doing till Chet said, "He wants a picture!" lolol  I thought he wanted me to choose my favorite chips or something, but I was already going for the Ruffles.

Tate:  "I'll take your order!  I'm the Chick-Fil-A guy!"
Me:  "Cookies n' cream shake, please!!"

Parker Elizabeth liked my earrings! ❤

The Dads with their kids (minus Parker)... Jeff and Ellie Faye, Evan and Sophia Elizabeth, Chet and Tate Haywood, Mark and Harvey Lane!

Cake time!!  (We had white and chocolate sheet cake + pineapple coconut bread pudding with rum sauce, all made by Karli, along with vanilla and chocolate ice cream!)

Tate was trying to help blow out the candles, and this all made me laugh!
Laura:  "Okay, that's enough blowing!"
JEM getting some later:  "So where can I get the most saliva?" lol

This garland Karli created makes me pretty happy!  I need one of these for my next party. lol  I'm always impressed with the banners and garlands she makes with her Cricut!

All the kids... makes me laugh that Tate's the only one who looks unconcerned about Parker's crying. lol

Tate opening the door and holding Sophia's hand to go outside! ❤

We got this after a few people already left, but it was a fun group and a fun night celebrating Chet Lee!

*I don't usually think much about the fact that I'm four years older than Chet and Sarah, but since I remember that party so well, I'm aware that 33 feels like a long time ago for me.  My 33rd birthday (HERE) in 2017 was my favorite full day of a birthday celebration thus far, and it ended with cookiecake and slightly-forced-by-me deep conversation at the Wilson Farmhouse!! ❤

Anyway, happy "Jesus year" to Sarah Elizabeth and Chet Lee!
