Thankful Thursday #145

Happy Thursday, friends, and happy 7-7!!  Hope you're having a great week in this 100-degree weather! =)

Today, I am thankful for:

1.  My future home, which is coming along at a rapid pace!  I have windows, bathtubs, an accessible attic, and they've wrapped the home in Taber paper.  As they say in their emails, "Welcome to the Taberhood!" lol

2.  Family, even those I don't get to see very often.  Michael and Melissa had a "Berry 1st birthday" theme for Emma's party this week, and they went all out dressing up for the occasion! lol

3.  Stumbling across old photos, and all at once feeling grateful for the fun times back then and also grateful for unanswered prayers, as Garth put it!  (This was our trip to Houston - Maggianos, Chili's, Andrew using his hair as a mousepad, and visiting a church Josh loved!)

4.  The joy of movement.  Thankful for the book by that title and for the actual joy I feel during and after a good workout!  Not so much before, but if I can talk myself into getting up and moving, it's always for the best!

5.  Wednesday night workouts with Tman... Kyndal has volleyball practice in Norman on Wednesdays, so we meet halfway for me to pick him up, then we go to the Norman Planet Fitness (much nicer than MWC) and do cardio + core + strength + stretch, followed by a hydromassage and then Tropical Smoothie Cafe!  It's fun working out together (although I'm sure not running 8mph on an incline!!) and it's nice getting to talk to him one-on-one and hear what he's thinking and planning for the future!  (It's also great that he's a fellow Marvel fan - we're seeing the new Thor movie tonight - yay!!)

6.  Bill and Jill, our awesome family friends, and that they came by and signed my house (Dad's hand is pointing to where they signed). lol

7.  Adorable babies, smash cakes, and cute pictures!  (Tate - 2019, Kate - 2022)

Bonus:  This collage, which makes me happy.  The 2014 pic is outside the Peavler home and the 2022 inside my parents' home.  It's the 7-person Oklahoma crew from Dad's side of the family - my parents and the aunts and uncles I've known best!  Alan and Charlene went from red shirts to white, but I love that Dad, Mom, Nancy, Gene, and Georgia are all dressed so similarly both years!! ❤

That's all for now.

May you work heartily at whatever you do,
as for the Lord and not for people!
