Happy Monday, friends and fam! And HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Chet Lee and Diesel Eugene!! I vote we all have some cake or a cupcake in their honor. =)
General Update:
Taber Homes was kind enough to move the smaller living room windows up to match their website photos. I'm happy with the drama-free communication and the speed of this entire building process thus far... hoping to know my official closing date sometime this week!
Exciting news: I have bathtubs + windows + doors! =)
Mom gave me these tennis shoes she's had for a while and never wears... I'm a fan, so yay! This was at the start of my neighborhood walk yesterday... my knees are dirty from writing on the foundation. lol
*Oh, and in extremely important news, Midwest City is getting our very own Tacos4Life soon (it's only been in Tulsa before)!! Dad nearly stopped the car in the middle of the road thinking something was wrong when I freaked out over seeing that sign! LOL
A quick "Memory Monday" snippet:
This was my 22nd birthday, and still ranks as one of my top three favorite birthdays as an adult. (If that doesn't make you think of T-Swift's "I don't know about you, but I'm feelin' 22!!" song, then I don't know what will.)
Sarah hosted us that day, and we had a game night then celebrated with a homemade chocolate cake and sparkling cider in fancy glasses.. (I was the only one over 21 in that group, and I don't care much for alcohol anyway.) In spite of us fangirling hard over the same guy, Sarah Bliss was my best girlfriend at the time, and I always enjoyed hanging out with Kelcey too... she had a quiet sarcastic wit that was so funny to me! As an introvert who prefers smaller crowds and quality conversations, a small group gathering with them and Joshua Michael was almost everything I could want at that point!
It's poor quality and kinda blurry, and I'm not close with any of them today, but it was a fun night and this will always be one of my favorite warm and glowy pictures... so cheers to life and friendship and birthdays and love and future hopes and dreams!! ❤
And finally, some classic Monday Memes:
That last one made me laugh out loud! Anyway, hope you have a superb week ahead!
May God show you which path to take
as you seek His will in all you do!
as you seek His will in all you do!
