Everyone should have a friend like Jeff! :) He has a great heart for people... he's naturally kind, generous, easygoing, adventurous, and freaking hilarious (many times without trying to be). He is also very hospitable and always a great party host... and he aspires to become a valuable mentor/friend to Justin Bieber! lol Oh, so many fun memories and quotes!! The above pic is us having breakfast with the VCGO at the Bellagio Pool Cafe - one of many fantastic memories from our Vegas trip! He loves Vegas almost as much as I do. :)
Below is Jeff and Chet suiting up to paint Malori's garage floor... another memory we always laugh about, as she was *not* thrilled with Jeff's method of pouring the paint out straight onto the floor instead of into a rolling pan.! =)
"Best side-trip ever!" lol Jeff loves Pops!
The below pic was my birthday night... a lovely posed candid of my favorite VCGO friends. =)
This is the Anthopologie mug "the boys" gave me for Christmas last year... so nice!
We ❤ America. lol This picture always makes me happy. :)
This = Jeff making his famous sopapilla cheesecake... I think I originally met him at the Caravan, but this is the first night I remember really hanging out with him. It was Hideaway dinner then a game night at his house, made especially memorable by an exciting bug incident that still gives me chills. lol
Even his legendary bowling form cracks me up! :)
This was at Nathan's "Fourth of July BASH BASH BASH!" lol We went to get ice cream or something and drove around listening to One Republic's The Good Life, which is kind of Jeff's theme song right now! =)
"Put your mind to it, go for it! You're gonna break a sweat - rock and roll, you ain't seen nothin' yet! Do you all remember that song by Hot Sundae!?" ~This is the first thing I remember Jeff saying when he and Chet got to Vegas. He had this totally random Saved by the Bell song in his head, and he actually knew the name of their girl group... so hilarious!
Then as we walked to the elevator, I asked if he'd bothered to listen to OneRepublic to get ready for their concert, and he responded by passionately singing:
"It's too late to compromi-ise!" lol Fail.
A few other favorite Jeff memories:
*Him singing the Baylor fight song at full volume before the football game even though no one else knew the words. :) (He went to Baylor and has gone to their homecoming game every year since he was born.)
*He accidentally bought books with the Nazi symbol on the side at a garage sale - just looking for some random books to decorate his house. lol
*The interesting questions he comes up with on road trips. :)
*Him randomly musing about wanting to own a herd of buffalo someday - "it's really a bucket list item."
*The entire OKC road trip to paint Malori's new house.
*Having tea at McAlister's with him and Chet!
*The OneRepublic concert in Vegas!!
*The Glamour Shots conversation :)
*Dancing the ghetto dance, the pretzel, and other fancy spin moves at Caravan
*Learning that he once performed in a Sound of Music singing group and knows all those songs! :)
*Hearing his Justin Bieber story, the basketball story, the full moon story, the infamous airplane story, Europe stories, etc. Jeff is a fantastic story-teller!
*Him emphatically saying he would've hit the guy who tried to steal Chet's wallet in Europe! lol
*His Texas accent that still pops up occasionally! lol "Nahs to meet you!"
So in summary, Jeffrey Edward is an awesome friend... a true JEM. ;-)
