15 - My Best Life

Day 15: A Day in the Life (Including Several Photos Throughout Your Day)

Yesterday, 3-14-15:

• Got up at 7:30 (way too early for a Saturday).
• Took down my sock bun hoping for pretty curls like the youtube tutorial - no such luck - maybe I'll master it someday. Anyway, fed the puppies and had breakfast, then got ready for the day.
• Left the house, saying "Live your best life!" to the girlfranz on my way out -- it's become a tradition purely because the ridiculousness of it makes me laugh every time I say it! :)
• Went to Runner's World to get a few pre-race pics of Laura and her Mom and OBU friends - happy to find a good parking space.
• Watched the Special Olympics race, thought about the Standing Outside the Fire music video and started crying as they all crossed the finish line - I loved being there for that!!
• Called Sarah to congratulate her on signing the lease that morning!
• Drove to Mom and Dad's house, listening and singing along to my music all the way (especially loving Stevie Wonder's Don't You Worry Bout a Thing right now - such a fun song, and I picture Olivia Pope and Jake dancing, right before she gets taken in a Shonda-riffic plot twist!)
• Went with Mom and Jace to pick up Chick-Fil-A for everyone.
• Garage Sale at the Parrish's old house - so crazy to look around and see everything moved out and repainted with new carpet! Kinda bittersweet seeing it empty - I have a lot of memories there even though I didn't live there - but Josh didn't seem too broken up about it. lol
• I played with JaceMan and Kyndal, which was a blast - I just love them!
• They started giving stuff away around 3:00 and got rid of it all pretty quickly. :)
• Back to Mom and Dad's just long enough to upload some pics to Facebook!
• Zio's on Meridian for an early family dinner -- good talk with Mom and Dad on the way there -- I got the Twin Favorites, a half portion of lasagna and chicken parmesan -- yummers!
• Drove back to Tulsa and was super happy to see that the puppies had made it through the whole day without a peeing incident!
• Texted friends and wrote my blog post for Day 14!
• Played with the Pom puppies and watched a recorded Modern Family, Superbook, and Shark Tank! :)
• Read a bit more of Little Pilgrim's Progress (such a brilliant book, and my present self appreciates it far more than I did in 3rd grade).
• Went to bed a little after 1:00 am.
